Okay...so your dad is Anakin Skywalker, who was a jedi. And your mom was Padme Amidala. Also the prequel movies are bad When she was pregnant with you and Leia, he kind of went all...dark side and became Darth Vader. It involved him having a pretty epic friend breakup with Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Anyway, your mom died, because of "heartbreak", but probably like a medical condition or something. And you were taken and raised by your uncle Owen...which you know that already. Actually your uncle. Basically Anakin's mom had married a guy and he had a son and that's Owen. And Leia was raised by Padme's friend Bail Organa. You were kept separate to keep you both safe.
