So, there's nothing like dreaming about living in the 80's (this fashion) and an extremely attractive man shows up to be an assistant to your father and suddenly you're questioning your sexuality. Doesn't help that you're also flirting with some of the girls in the town. I really just want to shake the dream version of myself because he's a total idiot about all this, but I have to admit it's hilarious to watch some of the interactions knowing who I am now. Nothing like having your crush touch you and then you run away in terror.

Now that I'm curious, I have a question for people who have been dreaming.

Depending on your dreams, would you rather they be more exciting or more mundane?

My own are pretty simple, but it sounds like some people out there only have nightmares from what I read.

I think I had one of those dreams everyone is always talking about. I don't think my subconscious could come up with such an elaborate dream on it's own.

I live in the future, 100 years after some nuclear apocalypse and we live on a space station, waiting for Earth to be inhabitable again. My dad was an engineer on the Ark, which is what we called the space station, and he figured out that he only had a limited amount of air left and there were too many of us. He told me about it and tried to tell everyone else, but they killed him before he could and put me in solitary confinement for a year. I was supposed to stay there till I was eighteen, but right before my birthday they came for me and I thought they were going execute me but instead they brought me to a drop ship along with 99 other teenagers who had always been locked up. Turned out we were expendable and they were sending us to Earth to see if it was inhabitable.

Imagine sending 100 teenagers to a place with no parental supervision. Yeah, it wasn't the best idea. Turns out though that Earth was not only inhabitable, but nature had taken over. Unfortunately we didn't land where we were supposed to and ended up with no communication to The Ark. I decided that we needed to find our way to Mount Weather, which was where we were supposed to land and so after I figured out the route, myself and four other kids head out to find it to get supplies and food.

For awhile we thought that we were the only ones there, because that's what we'd always been told, but just when we thought we'd made it where we were going Jasper, one of the kids in our group, was impaled by a spear.

And that's where my dream ended. Can't even find out if he's okay or not.

I don't really know what to think of these dreams. It was unlike any dream I've ever had.

What's the appropriate temperature for swimming in an outdoor pool?

I've lost my grapes, if anyone at the grocery store found them, I hope they ended up back on the shelf. I guess I was too focused on the eggs not breaking.

I just got woken up by an incessant beeping sound and at first I thought it was my phone or something until I got out of bed and this droid from my dreams rammed itself into my fucking calves. In the dark! Seriously? He seems really happy to see me, but I have no idea what he's trying to say.

All I know is that he's called BB-8 and is my astromech from my most recent dreams and somehow I can understand him in my dreams, but I can't here.

Now what do I do with a droid?

Hi, my name is Clarke and I happened to randomly stumble upon this group when I was looking up something else and of course I became curious about what everyone was saying about Orange County. I mean, I've been here for awhile, but I was still expecting people to be asking things like where's the best place to buy gluten-free avocados or other crazy California things like that, but I was surprised to find people just talking about their lives and stuff. I might stick around for a little while to see what else people post about.

So, who else still has their Christmas decorations up? Alex wants to take ours down soon, but I just hate doing it. It always makes the apartment feel so empty, which is funny since it's mostly the tree that takes up any significant room. I told her though, that if she lets us keep them up for another week, I'll take it all down myself with my super speed and she won't have to lift a finger. I think she likes that idea.

I don't normally do social media stuff, but for some reason I was drawn here when I happened upon the link. So what do you guys talk about? Local stuff? Random stuff? The weather? I mean, someone had to talk about last month's snow, right? Global warming is a bitch, huh?

Alright, I think my middle of the night rambling is over. Although, before I go, I'm Poe and I'll probably come back later.

I guess wishes don't last forever.

And a new year and new dreams.

Mostly to do with my duties as a Queen and nothing really crazy, at least until there's a strange sickness that affected both animals and people.

And the giant nightmare wolf.

Did anyone else get a snowglobe on Christmas? It seems to show ... memories.

Having a quiet New Year's Eve with my lady wearing one of my shirts, which is practically falling off. Who needs a party?

We've landed safely in Paris. Well, we landed safely in Paris several hours ago, but jet lag is a thing and I just wanted to sleep before we did anything else. I did text my dad, at least, so he wouldn't worry, before I buried my head under the pillow. I just knew I'd wake up to dozens of messages otherwise, each more frantic than the last. And I couldn't do that to him. Everyone and everything else, though, could wait until we got some sleep.

I've never been to a wedding before, so I'm still a little bit unsure of how I'm supposed to act when I get there, or what I'm supposed to wear. Tama luckily took care of that for me, so I get to be surprised when I unpack over what all he picked. I do know I have options for whatever feels most right at the time, which I really appreciate more than I can say.

And now I'm awake and absolutely starving. And it's three in the morning here. Why are timezones like this.
