Looks like we found the missing kid. I swear, this dream thing, it's like a soap opera. Kid was in the lake. So that'll be one of the hardest conversations, when I go and tell his mom we found him.

I don't know, though. Something doesn't sit right. Spent the day at a facility in town, a lab. Watched the security tapes of the night Will disappeared. We had to call the search off because of rain, but there was no rain on the tapes. I don't know what the deal is, but those guys are lying.

And then we found Will in the lake. Seems a little suspicious to me.

Seems like the kid from my dreams was probably kidnapped. We had a possible sighting of him, though. At Benny's Burgers, stealing food from the kitchen. Problem is, Benny killed himself. Which is...It doesn't sit well. Benny was a friend, and maybe we weren't super close or anything but it just feels...off.

Things like this don't happen in my town. Last kid went missing 60 years earlier. Last suicide was in the 60s. Now both have happened in the same week. Same day. It doesn't make sense. I have this feeling of foreboding. I woke up with it in the pit of my stomach, and I'm not sure what to do with that feeling now.

Dreamed about being on a small town police force. Kid went missing. Tried to brush it off, till I searched the kid's house. The shed out back. There's something, I don't know. Not right. Woke up feeling out of sorts.

That's a thing that happens with people on this network, yeah? Weird dreams. Some kinda bleed over.

I'm not usually one for this social media stuff, but I figure what the hell. I've just moved to town, and I don't know anyone, so here I am. Name's Hopper. Career cop, recently retired after getting shot. Came here from San Fran to start a new chapter of my life.
