Today on the "Things Bo can't have" channel:

pictures of shoes! )

Unfortunately, they're also topping the list of "things Bo wants to have," after that particular purple jacket I've been saving up for that I have enough to order when its her creator gets back from London. The top pair would look so good with it, too!

(For once, this post has NOTHING to do with work. Admire my restraint.)

Hello Valarnet. My name is Luna Lovegood. I was pointed here by a schoolmate. She said I might be able to contact some of my old schoolmates who might be able to help me find a few of my missing belongings. It's not a long list, but if anyone from OCSA has seen them, please let me know.

1. Pair of red sneakers
2. Box of sand
3. Book on Mysteries of the South
4. A shark tooth necklace
5. Unicorn hat

Thank you!

Y'know, for someone they used to call a walking pride parade, my luck with girls has been like... slim to none lately.

Can I blame the weird fuzzy things? I mean, I know Pinkie dealt with 'em and all, but... Better than admitting I suck

Tomorrow marks the third month of my community service on Mr. J's Neighborhood. At least I get to teach children how important the natural world is. If I can just survive my co-worker

I cannot say anything disparaging I cannot say anything disparaging

It's been an enlightening experience.

I never thought I'd miss London so much, or be so excited to be back here. I was only gone for what, six months? Crazy stuff, kids.

I'm happy to say that your magnificent assistance at the beginning of the month has helped all our fine local athletes make it here in fine style, so thank you again to everyone who helped out the SoCal Olympians fund! Just because we're in London doesn't mean our costs are all paid, so feel free to continue donating, either directly to the fund or at TeamUSA.org.

And please, please remember: Jordyn Wieber and Justin Bieber aren't remotely the same person.

Does everybody know just how reliant on tea the British are? It's crazy, wherever we are there is always somebody around to offer it.

Olympic prep is going well, interviews start soon which is fun for the stylists though not for all of the competitors. I'm trying to make it as fun and relaxed as I can though.

So then, boys and girls. It's just about time for things to get exciting.

Leaving aside the charity ball, we still have several auctions starting up, with the goal of fundraising to get our local athletes to London for the Olympics next month. They're leaving soon, so they'll have time to train at their various venues in advance, and that means that we need to step up our game in order to get them there.

I have six jackets, each of them very individualistic and one-of-a-kind, in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL, and 2X, all of which are dedicated to the dream of health and athleticism at every size, with a subtly Olympian motif. If you have questions, feel free to ask them, but the actual auction for them will end on Saturday night at the charity ball. If you absolutely must have one, please send me a private message with your maximum bid. I'll let you know if the ball's maximum bid at the silent auction is higher, so you'll have a chance to outmatch it, unless an assortment of people are all desperate for the same size, in which case... well, we'll see.

And, because I know well the power of the Internet to awe and amaze, I'm going to turn to you, boys and girls: Olympian athletes are not a corporation, and therefore sponsoring them to get to the Olympics can, and perhaps should, be crowdsourced. Nothing at all says that you can't donate $5 to help your favorite local athlete get a chance to shine. If a thousand people all donate whatever they have lying around in their PayPal accounts, I'm completely certain at least four teams would have their total expenses covered instantaneously.

People have been having weird dreams a lot, I guess, and talking about weird dreams a lot, and all, and usually my dreams aren't very notable or I just don't really talk about them.

Except for the dreams after the tarot reading Loki did for me, those were like they were on speed, but still not very clear or sense-making.

This time, though, I think I get what you guys are talking about.

It was a very simple dream about a girl and her horse, except that girl was me and the horse had wings.

Which, whatever, but it was frighteningly real. Enough I could still feel feathers on my fingertips when I woke up. What is the internet slipping me?

[Filtered to friends; your character is on it if you think they are! Her definition of 'friends' is weird and wide]

Crap.

Our place got broken into AGAIN. I can't get ahold of Mom and Prim's really upset.

No, I am not calling the cops. Never trusted police. They did shit all for us in WV. I want to track them down and get our shit back this time.

I'm flying across the country to Virginia today for, um, the next day and a half; FVS is still open but I'm not the vet on call right now.

Anyone want anything from the State for Lovers?

So.

How many of us Olympians are there now, three? Four if we count Sif, who was on the last Summer Olympics team but, for some odd reason, isn't going this year?

I try to be a pleasant employee, get along with my co-workers and do everything right. I really, really do. I mean, we're all a team, we work together, everything adds up. It's usually fine. The petty stuff, well, I don't sweat it.

This afternoon has gone beyond petty, I'm afraid.

Someone disassembled the office coffeemaker. I don't want to know why, I think that I know WHO, and it's literally driving me insane. Sure, I'm off for a quick Starbucks run so we're all sane and happy and fun to be around, but that isn't the same, considering how much cheaper this is.

I can tolerate my co-workers leaving the pot empty, I can tolerate the dirty cups they toss into the sink, since I don't even mind cleaning them up, but this? I have the feeling it's the thing that could break me today. I will be insanely lucky if I make it until closing without murdering someone today.

...My name is Dick Greyson, I am in extreme withdrawal and this is my first post and rant to valarnet. I'm sure it will be nice to meet you once I'm properly caffeinated once again.

So.

That went well.

This Olympics thing is happening, then. Ridiculous amounts of training after school until school ends. About a month of full-time training after school is over, and then we leave for London mid-July.

I'm completely panicked about my little sister. My mother works constantly and Prim's just not old enough to take care of herself. And she really doesn't trust people readily at all.

I mean, obviously both of them will be coming to London, but during all this training?
