Is it too cliche to simply state Curiouser and curiouser?

Its hard to explain how excited and in awe I am of the fact that a lump of rock half the size of a soccer field has just come inside the orbits of our geosynchronous satellites and had it's orbit irrevocably altered by Earth's gravitational pull!

It kind of makes me hot...

Haven't been that busy on a weekend in awhile. I'm knackered. Think I'm gonna just stay in bed today.

It's cute how teachers think that getting kicked out of their class is some kind of punishment...

I mean, what happens next? Forbidding me to do the homework?

Oh my God. I got myself kicked out of class. I think I want to die.

...Worth it.

I love my field of work, there's always so much going on. I've always found black holes to be incredible. It's amazing to think how far we have come and with research and dedication we will continue to make new and fascinating discovery's. Science geeks will eventually take over the world ;)

Production on Black Widow is finally starting back up again after that whole virus scare. I really missed working, but spending time at home with my family was really nice. It's kind of been an insane last couple of weeks, both the good and bad kind. I'm honestly just looking forward to getting back to some kind of normalcy in my life.

Only took a matter of weeks but I finally have found a decent tailor and tea shop.

Bloody Americans. Feeling more at home already.

Okay guys and gals, lets be honest here a moment, how many people buy themselves a present too while they're shopping for everyone else? Me, personally, I am splurging and ordered my Christmas dinner from a catering service. This way we can all eat well and have to do none of the time consuming prep work.

Best present you got yourself, lets hear it.

A day sitting around reading while my students run amok? It's a nearly Christmas miracle. Thank you global warming for giving me this day off. I may actually bother to wrap my presents this year, instead of buying gift bags. On the other hand, I think I'll sit around and drink coffee all day and enjoy myself. I'm certainly not driving anywhere. Everyone be safe if you go out.

Coffee shop's maker went down, so coffee was ten minutes late; which, added onto the fact my car kept over heating and I had to continue pulling over again and again, coupled even then with three hour traffic jams, is likely the reason I'll have an aneurism before I'm thirty. This is why I shouldn't drink coffee.

There are some amazing pictures online of the solar eclipse.

It really makes you appreciate what an incredible world we live in. Or at least that's what it does to me.

My time is far more valuable than yours. If you're going to show up late for my class, don't bother showing up at all.

Thus ends the rant.

Konnichiwa, valar.net! I'm Ichimaru Gin, from Osaka. Pleased to meet ya. I'm looking forward to my great big ol' California vacation, where I'm goin' to Disneyland and seein' the big Hollywood sign and lookin' at girls in bikinis on beaches.

So now that I'm here, how about let's play a game? It's one of those getting-to-know-you games, which is fun for everyone if they want to take part in it.

If you had to pick an animal that best symbolizes you, what would it be and why? Please explain, so that the rest of us can get a better insight into if you're insane or not.

Just kidding! Don't want to start a hootenanny on the internet. It's already insane enough as it is. I've been on 4chan. I know how bad it can get.

My answer: I've always liked foxes and stories about kitsune. They're clever critters and I like clever critters. Other people tend to call me fox-face because I grin too much and I like to play pranks sometimes. So I think I'm most like that. And it's better than admittin' that I think I'm like a snake, too.

How about the rest of you?

So I am being dragged along to this gala thing tonight by my flatmate, she's as excited as a kid at Christmas.

I really just want to stay home and read the latest astrophysics journal that came this morning. I'm a geek and proud of it. But she pulled the best friend card so I guess I have to go. At least I have a dress already.

If anybody else is going who would rather not maybe we could start a support group there ;)

Last night, we--the madman and I--went to a superb Chinese restaurant. It looked like no more than a hole-in-the-wall, but one of Sherlock's lesser skills, respectively, is that he can pick out the best place to eat on every block, even if he's never been there before. I haven't had a bad meal since arriving here.

My fortune cookie said 'There is nothing new under the sun. It has all been done before.' I beg to differ.

School is going to start soon and I'm supposed to be thinking about which colleges I want to apply to. I don't think I want to go to any but my summer school teacher says I could have a shot at MIT if I got horrendously serious about my education.

One thing at a time, I guess.

1. Driver's License
2. Everything else

Stupid Lannisters. Looks like they are as rich here as they are in my dreams.
