So, it's official. You're looking at (or, well, reading the words written from?) the new face of MakeMeNew Cosmetics. The paperwork is all signed, my new work visa is in place, and the photos will be out soon. That's the best I can say, "soon." They're going to be rolling out the snaps that we took for the Christmas line, and the New Years stuff was just fantastic. So pretty.

Now I need to go celebrate. I've been sitting on this news for weeks now! It's great to be able to finally spill it!

Is anyone else as upset as I am about Lucas Film getting bought out by Disney? And by the announcement that this new Disney/Lucas company is going to put out three more Star Wars films? Didn't they learn anything from Episodes I-III? Wait. No. Of course they didn't. The movies were crap, but they still made millions of dollars so who cares, right?

I met Vincent Van Gogh in my dream last night. It was... what's the word the kids are using now-a-days? Epic. Absolutely epic.

I too have a question to ask of you. Owing to an incident earlier today involving the wheel of a car, which I'm not entirely convinced was an accident, I am in need of a new personal cellular phone. It has been suggested that I finally join the 'smart-phone club.' I was hoping to hear your recommendations before proceeding any further.

This 'Cat Lady' from London has caught my interest. Orange County seems to have no shortage of Citizens willing to go above the law and 'do good'. It remains to be seen how much 'good' is actually being done, but as my own investigation is slow, I may as well look into this more fully.

On another note, I seem to have come down with whatever this odd-dream sickness is that everyone else has contracted. That, or I need to rethink what it is I eat before bed.

The dream I've had probably should have been more disturbing to me than it was, considering I was very blue, surrounded by space aliens, and apparently capable of disturbing local police forces merely by my presence.

I don't care how ridiculous her stories are, I like Skeeter. She's the only who ever gives updates on the Cat Lady.

I have decided to buy my own camera, and start taking professional-type photographs. That being said, all I need now is a professional camera, and some know-how. And someone to convince me not to chuck it against the wall when things don't go my way.

Oh, and some idea where to start looking for a good camera. And someone to show me how to use it. And some extra money to procure one.

Are they still using film for casual shooting, or is everything digital, now-a-days?

Guess I should introduce myself on this thing, right? I'm Mickey Smith. I just signed up the other day. My friend Rose told me about it. There's not a whole lot to tell about myself. I work over at a mechanic shop doing oil changes and smog checks and stuff. It's pretty boring.

Tonight the last of my series on Develo-core goes out over the telly. It's my last one for at least a couple of weeks. There are some stories that I'm working on, but no leads quite yet. Which is just fine, because I have four teenagers in the house, and they are completely running me up the wall.

So glad they're in school again. Luke's even in college this year, ahead of his class. I miss him, but I've got the others to look after.

Anyway, that's a plug for my television program.

The greatest thing about Fridays is the fact that I don't have work or school today. How am I celebrating this miracle scheduling? Sitting alone in my apartment playing on the internet...
