Think I've sort of found a new hobby, been taking photos recently. Starting to get the hang of it I think. Landscapes are fun and all but I think people might be more interesting, anyone want to be a guinea pig and have a photoshoot at some places in town?

I wish I could keep up with what Livvy wants to be for Halloween. First it's a princess, then a banana, then we went back to princess and now she wants to be a princess pirate angel. Whatever that is. I have no idea where she comes up with this stuff.

New school year, new classmates. And I always like to let classmates know, in case of future group projects, that I'm dyslexic and have ADD. Because I figure that's something important to know in case of future group projects. I'd rather be upfront about it now instead of looking like I'm using it as an excuse later. One of them said I didn't "seem like there's anything wrong with me". First that's... just insulting. There's nothing wrong with me, my brain just works differently. Secondly I've been on medication for it since I was a kid. And they replied asking if I've tried going without it and just "tried harder".

We are in the first year of medical school. How are you even here if you're questioning the legitimacy of medication? And I admit, I'm not perfect. There are mornings I've forgotten my medicine because something was going on and I got distracted. It's ...usually pretty obvious. The fact I usually seem whatever you consider "normal" means it's working.

Well, that was an interesting dream.

It's pretty fun getting to dress up as princesses for little kids birthdays. I had my first party where I got to be Alice.

Given the kind of dreams I have and I know Alice's daughter, Ally, I find it extremely funny. This one little girl said she hate's princesses and she's only at the party because it's for he best friend. She likes superhero's better. I told her pirates are where it's at.

I've never been one of those people who hate gender reveal parties, but considering this latest news about how a recent one started one of the wildfires, I'm beginning to turn to the side of the people who are saying enough is enough. Using a cake to reveal the gender is fine, but using a smoke grenade is really something you should rethink before deciding on it. Use some common sense.

I have a seperate music playlist for when the kids are listening. It's mostly the same music as I usually listen to, just with some things removed the girls are too young for. I guess I didn't think over the songs on my twin safe list too carefully, because I forgot a few lines in "Sugar, We're going Down" (because no, my taste in music hasn't changed since I was in high school). I was worried they were going to ask what it meant and start a conversation I didn't want to have without both Amycus and I there, but instead Laurel just asked what language the song was in.

Okay so another dream. Sammy and I were investigating something that sounded like the Hook Man urban legend. I get to go find the unmarked grave and dig it up to salt and burn the body while my brother gets to keep an eye on the cute girl. I think I got the crap end of the deal here.

We saved the girl, vanquished the spirit and another case solved. Still not any closer to finding our dad.

Um, right. So I'm Harry, and was told to introduce myself on this thing. Hello? I like afternoon tea, a good book and more tea. Basically, bring me all your tea recommendations for Orange County? And maybe a good diner. I do like the occasional sweet.

That's it. I'm not taking any more naps in the afternoon. Not when the Dreams are going to dump five years on me at one time before I have to go to work. I finally met James and Sirius in the Dreams, we got sorted into Gryffindor which I already knew was going to happen, but it was fun seeing how adorable they were there as kids. I also met two other boys that are apparently going to be key figures in my school life judging by the next few years I dreamt - Peter and Remus.

I do pretty well in potions at Hogwarts and get invited to join the Professors elite group of students - the Slug Club - and then we hit fifth year and my friendship with Severus explodes. We'd stayed close despite being in different houses and the Gryffindor boys absolutely hating him and bullying him every chance they got. I tried to stick up for him one afternoon while they were doing it and he called me a mudblood which is a slur for muggleborns like me. That was when I realized how much he'd changed. He tried to apologize for it, for hurting my feelings anyway since he didn't see anything wrong with what he'd said. With his attitude and the beliefs his other friends had about purebloods and halfbloods being superior.

I couldn't - I ended my friendship with him that night and that was when I woke up, crying with Bella beside me on the bed, nuzzling at my shoulder like she does to comfort me.

Knowing it was going to happen and living through it are entirely different things. I think...I think I was sort of in love with him in the Dreams. Until that happened.

As of tomorrow, I won't be at the ER anymore. I'll be at the clinic, which I think will be a better fit. But if anyone needs medical care at home from Dream related stuff, let me know. I'm willing to do house calls.

I've been dreaming more of the Fourth Coalition over the last few weeks. I'm afraid joining the war with the Prussians has gone about as well as I suspected it might; we have been thoroughly Routed at every Turn. Temeraire has attempted to point out some Weaknesses in our aerial tactics, though the Prussians will not listen to him on account of his Dragonhood. They even scoff when they learn that Lien, a dragon who'd sworn vengeance against Temeraire whilst we were in China is commanding the French armies, and refuse to listen when I attempt to warn them of her intelligence and cunning. With the fall of Prince Ferdinand, however, I believe the Prussians will be more willing to listen to Temeraire's Wisdom, which I can only be glad for.

Most interestingly tonight, my dream self has lain eyes on Napoleon himself for the first time. He's not at all what my Dream Self thought he would be, I think. Lien has taken him as her companion as well, which is a truly harrowing thought. The Napoleon in our own history was formidable enough; I'm afraid with Lien's Insights he may be near unstoppable.

Waking up with injuries is not my ideal morning. Nikita at least patched me up again. Stitches. I was a guardian. In charge of keeping these black boxes protected. and a killer I don’t like dream me. I don’t like what I found out he’s done. At least dream me feels the same way.

So weird things showing up from the dreams is a thing?

I woke up this morning to the page from the grimoire, like Elijah promised.

I really did not think Elijah was going to keep his word but he did. I know he’s the one they call the honorable one but in my dreams I’m just used to everyone lying to me. He came back with a spell, a spell of unknotting. He said it would require more control than I thought. It took several tries but eventually I did it. I don’t understand why I’m being taught to control magic that I’m going to lose.

I never thought I'd be in this position with my business but here we are - anybody want to dress up as a princess for children's birthday parties? I've got Ariel and Merida covered but I've been getting a lot of questions about others over the last few weeks. On top of more bookings than I can handle on my own once the new semester starts. If you're interested let me know and we can set up a time to chat and see if it'd be a good fit.

I see a lot of people talking about dreams. I had one last night that was so realistic I'm still trying to process it. I was working in an office, anxietized about how I was going to make rent, when a mailperson showed up. he was evidently a new guy on the route, and he was amused by the signage on my office door. Claimed I was a wizard, and after he left I got a phone call from a woman wanting me to investigate her husband's disappearance. And then I got a phone call from a detective on the police force wanting me to consult on a special interest case. I'm honestly still kind of WTFing about it.

Erin and I went to Las Vegas this weekend and I am returning a married man! We decided to skip the big wedding and reception and elope.

My father-in-law even surprised us and brought Erin's old team to the wedding. It was nice to catch up with them and have a little bit of Chicago closer to home.

This is Bella. A friend I think? of Amycus rescued her and her puppies from a bad spot and they asked me to take her in once the puppies were weaned. I honestly was expecting her to take longer to get settled in with me but it’s nice that she has so quickly. And unlike a certain fluff monster I know and love and will still happily sit, Regulus - she is willing to share the loveseat with me when I’m watching TV.

She’s actually a lot calmer than I expected about being left alone for a few hours when I’m at work. As long as I take her for a walk and give her a cuddle and make sure her dishes are full before I leave. The only thing I’ve noticed that makes me worry is that she seems to have some type of nightmares sleeping by herself in the living room so I moved her bed into my room and that seems to help. And sometimes she’ll just get on the bed with me after I’m asleep unless I’ve brought somebody home with me

Name's Harry. Made the move from Chicago to work as an ER nurse. I start July 19, which gives me almost two weeks to get settled.

Turns out dream!me can be a real idiot sometimes.

So after we blew up Starkiller Base, the First Order found our base on D'Qar and we had to mak a hasty exit. I suggested a plan where I would distract The First Order while the others got off the planet, which was all well and good, right? And while we did manage to blow up the Dreadnought, I got extremely cocky and got most of Cobalt Squadron and our bombers killed we suffered enough casualties that Leia demoted me to Captain since she had technically told me to come back once we pulled off our initial distraction and I hadn't listened. Am I surprised that I didn't listen? Nope. Cause it definitely sounds like something I have done in the past. I just never got an entire squadron killed in real life.

Considering how bad I am at listening to authority figures, it's a wonder I lasted as long as I did in the Navy.

Also, for someone Leia's size, she packs a mean slap.

Stupid, stupid dreams! I like ME. I mean, it is pretty cool that my dream dad is the mayor of Paris of all things and my mom is a super successful fashion designer. But STILL! PUH-lease! I like me!

Most people like to start their school year off buying new art supplies. I mean.. I guess I do too, being that I'm an art student. But I like to end the school year getting to buy supplies I haven't tried yet, because I'm going to have time to just experiment with them and maybe try new techniques without it affecting anyone but me. And Nefertiti, who has decided to claim one of my brushes as her own permanently. Don't worry, it's clean. I'd never give her one with paint of any sort on it.

I've been craving s'mores recently cause I keep seeing various commercials with s'mores in them. Would it be crazy if I went out and bought a fire pit for my backyard just so I can have s'mores? I know I could make them on the stove, but that's no fun.

There must be something in the water because I've jumped on the dream train. I hope it's just an over active imagination because I'm dreaming up some strange, yet strangely realistic stuff.

We are seriously fighting a fucking losing battle in Fillory. If it's not one thing it's another. Not only is Loria advancing, but magic keeps going out because of fucking Ember. One of our advisors suggests Royal Combat between Eliot and Prince Ess's father; only problem is Eliot has never even held a fucking sword and sword fighting spells take years to master. Years that we don't have. Luckily, Fen actually does something useful and brings Eliot a sword made for a king with a sword fighting spell, also made for a king. So as long as the Well Spring holds out, Eliot might have a chance of winning this thing.

To try and lift Eliot's spirits before combat, I cast a spell that causes me, him and everyone else at White Spire to sing One Day More from Les Misérables. I skip a couple parts that didn't pertain to our situation, but it worked.

Before the battle started I asked our advisors if there was a way to fix the Well Spring and they suggested petitioning the fairies for help. So I did. Of course I fucking would, because I want the easy way out. So I have my secret meeting with the fairy ambassador and what do the fairies want in return for fixing the Well Spring? A royal baby. Eliot's royal baby. And yes, I'm that fucking heartless that I agree. Without telling Eliot or Fen.

I need a fucking drink before trying to go back to sleep.

On behalf of Mercy's Clinic, I just want to thank everyone for not doing anything too crazy over the holiday weekend. I know we still have the actual holiday tomorrow, but it's nice not having an influx of barbecue inflicted wounds or anything like that. One year, when I was still working at a hospital, we had so many people coming in one Fourth of July, it was crazy. I've never quite understood why there are so many more injuries around holidays. I know it obviously has to do with people drinking more during the holidays, but still.

Honestly can Netflix can just get rid of that damn question about are you still watching already? If I want to spend my day off bingewatching things than I should be able to without having to confirm every few episodes that I'm still watching. Or they should quit making such bingeable shows.

Well that was gross. Has anyone else seen the Oscar Meyer commercial where the girl puts peanut butter on her hot dog? Why would anyone do that? I'll eat some weird things, but that's just too weird even for me. Is there anyone who would actually do that?

So after doing some math with Nico, it looks like when he moved to America is about the same time Mom decided to take her show on the road, showcasing haunted houses all over the states instead of just in and around New Orleans. I mean, maybe she was running out of locations like she said. Or... maybe she was using it as an excuse. Dad couldn't sue for visitation if he couldn't keep track of where she was, after all.

More dreams last night. Pretty sure the older guy I've been seeing is abusive. So that's fun.

In happier news it's almost Memorial Day weekend! Anyone have fun plans?

I never realized there were so many hoops to go through to get an extra lock installed on the door of my flat.

We sometimes leave Food Network on for background noise when we're not watching something in particular at the apartment, and Guys Grocery Games was on while I was working on something, so I was only half listening to start with and this may be my fault for mishearing. But this one guy had this really thick French accent, and I have no idea what he actually said. But my brain interpreted it as "sautee the muppet." And I am about 98% sure that THAT can't be right.

Just as I thought, you send a bunch of delinquent teenagers somewhere without adult supervision and all hell breaks loose. We went back to the drop ship to tell the others what happened to Jasper and two of the guys are fighting. With knives. I can't even.

After that I gathered supplies so I could go back out and find Jasper. I asked another boy named Bellamy to come with me and Wells since he had a gun. He asks Murphy to come, which is fine cause we're probably better going in numbers anyway. Later on Bellamy tries to get me to take off my wristband, which is stupid because our wristbands tell the ARK that we're still alive. I told him that the only way the Ark was going to think I was dead was if I were actually dead. Another boy named Finn shows up then and suggests we split up. Eventually we find a trail of Jasper's blood and it leads us to Jasper who is tied up. Stupid me, rushes forward and I almost fall into a pit. It takes three of the guys to pull me out, which makes no sense cause I don't weigh that much!

In the end we got Jasper down and went back to the drop ship with a dead jaguar in tow for dinner. I don't see how this whole situation is going to work out. Everyone is taking off their wristbands, making the Ark think we're dying and they won't come down to Earth if they think it's not safe. Why am I surrounded by idiots?

So I finally made it to Hogwarts in the Dreams. And - I really wish my school here had been in a castle but you can’t have everything. They use a hat to sort everyone into their houses and I know that Snape wanted me in Slytherin because he was convinced that’s where he’d go but the hat shouted out Gryffindor when it was put on my head and I went over to that table. Part of me wishes that I’d been put in the same house as him because he was put in Slytherin - then I’d at least know someone. But I’ll make friends. I know I will.

Hogwarts is massive...I never thought I would get to these dreams, Ams talked about and now I get to dream them.

The sorting hat was a little daunting, but I knew where I belonged, I knew where Amycus belong, same house as our father.

Life is certainly different and when I woke up, I was disappointed, till I discovered...my wand!


I can safety say I haven't blown anything up.

There are lots of things that I've been using magic for that I used to do the old fashioned way, since I became a warlock, because it's just faster to do it with magic, but one of the things I still do the mundane way is go to get manicures and pedicures. There's just something about having it done that's so much better than just using magic. It's much more relaxing to go and get it done.

Any other magic users have something you still do the regular way that you could do with magic, but you don't?

Oh my god, my brother is a girl!! I honestly don't care how this happened, but I'm extremely amused by this. I'm never going to let Mark forget about this.

Am I the only one who thinks this is fun, full stop?
