Well, that foray into the past was interesting. But I could've used a bit more excitement than that. Though I did have an intense staring contest with a lion. That was fun.

So, my first time getting to see my Dad in my dreams is his vehicle crashing into the lake at camp. Just to remind everyone, my dad is the god Apollo. And said vehicle is the actual sun. So... that’s fun? At least it wasn’t him driving, and I think everyone was okay.

He’s suing me! My former landlord is suing me for breaking the lease when I moved out early! Can he do that when he’s the reason I broke the lease though? And there’s something in there about my jeopardizing his livelihood, because I told the school what had happened so that they would know what he did before allowing him to advertise his room to students. This is too much stress when I’m trying to get on Chopped so that I can hopefully win prize money and start towards opening my own place

I cannot even begin to believe that this is a question my employees are asking, but NO. I will not close the restaurant or the clubs down just because you want to go see Infinity War this weekend. No, I don't care that you've waited ten years for this movie, you still have to work your shift or you wont have a job in the morning. No, I don't care that I'm being unfair.

I can't believe it's been a month since we got the green light to make the season of my new show! Time has really flied while having fun!!

They've set a premiere date for the show, which is going to run over the summer. It's set to run Sunday evenings from May 27 until August! We're going to have a 13 episode season.

I hope you'll all love it! I want to have a big party when the first episode premieres! :)

Pretty happy about my frozen Girl Scout Cookies right about now.

I'm grateful that I was able return to work today. After rather shamefully falling asleep during a meeting last week and waking in the hospital a full day later, I was told that I should remain home despite the fact that nothing could be found wrong. Although I thought I saw a bench walking around this morning, so perhaps I should make sure that everything is okay.

I have to admit to being relieved to read that others dreamed of a prehistoric forest, though I must confess that the whole thing is rather confusing. Those certainly weren't my normal Dreams.

I totally gotta say that as an Evolutionary Developmental Biologist, that little trip to the past, whether it was a dream or whatever, was so freaking amazing!! I mean, aside from the fact I was only armed with a spoon, but at least Jemma had a weapon. But to see some of those animals blew my freaking mind. Kinda wish I'd had my cell phone with me so I could've taken pictures or gotten video! Oh well, at least I'll have the memories of it.

I can’t believe high school is almost over. It feels weird that after this summer, I’m not going back in fall. I’m still a little bummed I didn’t get into my first choice school, but I’ve gotten a few letters back from other colleges. I just need to choose which one to accept now and get back in touch with them.

Are we expecting another weird OC weather event that no one told me about? I went to three grocery stores, and every one of them was completely wiped out of white bread. Not just one brand, but the entire section. Even the store brands. I mean, I’m not that picky, but I live with two little girls (and a boyfriend) who won’t touch whole wheat bread, so that wasn’t really an option.

I didn’t really want to go to yet another store, so this week everyone’s getting wraps instead of sandwiches for their lunches.

We've been playing video games all day. ALL. DAY. I feel like I've gotten NOTHING done. I really should be unpacking, but I'm trying to hit level 40 on HotS.

That was weird. Then again, no weirder than anything else I've dreamt. Anyway, it was like a dream in my dreams. A vision really. When we went from the Seelie Realm to Edom, something showed me a vision. It was like my perfect life. I was a famous rock-star, living in a penthouse of a nice hotel, in New York. Only thing that was off was that I was with Clary. I was with Clary, but when we kissed I called her Isabelle and that broke the spell or whatever it was and I woke up in Edom. And let me tell you; Edom is not a nice place for a vacation.

That was probably the shortest dream I've had since I started dreaming.

So having Alec and Magnus back in town has been really awesome cause now Isabelle and I aren't the only ones at the Institute. I have no regrets about moving in, but when you're alone in that place, it can be pretty damn creepy. So having more people here is nice.

Man, I thought my training was intense. Zootopia even more so!

I guess it doesn't help that there are so many different districts with unique situations. Sahara Square, Tundra Town, Rainforest District...there are 12 in total! Damn.

Needless to say, the beginning of it was not the best. Best not to talk about the toilet situation

But it seems that dream me is very much like me me. Determination and hard work paid off! Overcoming difficult situations usually just took a different approach. Here's hoping it pays off!

I've been getting a lot of repeat Dreams, but nothing new for months now. This morning, though, the van that my Dream-self drives was sitting out front in our driveway. I'm really excited for this because it is a sweet van, but I kinda wish I had gotten it the first time Orange County decided to flatten my car.

An interesting tidbit of history: It was once famously said by the First Lord of the Admiralty, Lord St. Vincent, "I do not say they cannot come – I only say they cannot come by sea" and in the Napoleonic wars, this was proven true. Napoleon was a clever general over land, but completely hopeless when it came to battling at sea, and Napoleon was never able to launch a successful invasion of England over the Channel.

Though, as history showed, he had once thought to invade England by air balloon. This plot never came to fruition either, as he was urged to avoid said tactic due to unpredictability of travelling by balloon, and the winds.

It seems that in a world where every major militarily force has an air force made up of dragons, contemplating the idea of invasion by air balloon was completely unnecessary. Napoleon crafted wooden ships, chock-full of soldiers, and was to have then carried over by dragon. He very nearly succeeded, too. If Temeraire hadn't discovered that he could... I'm not even sure how he managed it. He roared, and the force of his cry shattered the ships. But if he hadn't discovered that as his skill, then surely England would have been lost. I shudder to think of what could have happened.

Man, I can't believe it's already Easter tomorrow. Time really flies. It's my first Easter with Chris so I gotta make it good. I'm thinking I'll buy a bunch of chocolate eggs tonight after work and I'll hide them in the park near my apartment in the morning.

Any idea where the best outdoor hiding spots are? I was thinking putting some up in the trees but I don't know how good of a climber Chris is

A bar proprietor convention in New York in mid-May. I'm signing up for that. Five days in the city. I've been there a few times since, but only for a couple nights. I'm looking forward to seeing it again.

Had another dream last night. They usually don't come so close together. My department was forced to play babysitter to some political powder keg. Unsurprisingly, said powder keg blew up. Literally. I was pretty sure it was D so I tracked him down, but by the time I found him that morning they'd found the actual suspect. I'm still not convinced D wasn't up to something. Dude's shady as fuck.

On the bright side, all my complaining finally paid off and D actually had some eggs and vegetables to give me for breakfast instead of the sweets he's normally got lying around. The eggs were kinda weird, but not too bad.

I couldn't resist and she's going to kill me.

If the Dreams could not make my life awkward right before a major presentation in my psych class, that would be great. I could have lived without the experience of waking up next to Penny after a Dream of meeting some cute musician who had me completely tongue-tied. I’m just hoping that he was trying not to listen in on my thoughts this morning.

I didn’t have time to review my notes before class, so I went into the presentation barely prepared and having to constantly look down at my note cards because I just couldn’t quit feeling guilty get my head on straight.

Lesson learned: experimenting with powers you have in your head leads to giving yourself a migraine from hell that you try to drink into the ground then fuck up your mental organization and end up worse off than you started.

A few weeks later and I'm finally functional again. So glad the Cafe runs without my brain functional. I am so freaking worn out it's beyond ridiculous. That said, it made nothing better. I'm so over this untouchable bullshit.

Also, I think I'll be laying off experimenting for a while. That was terribly unpleasant.

So, of course since my last dream was fun and exciting musical at a bowling alley something bad had to happen in this dream.

My boyfriend died while serving overseas. The Vietnam War truly was a mistake, but of course no one knows that back in the 60's - I will also admit that I cried over it when I woke up. It hurts feeling that much heart break in a dream.

The next night I dreamed of myself running off to New York to see my brother before I go to college and wow, does he have an interesting group of friends. It's like a bohemian colony in this apartment with 5 people in there and they're all so creatively talented. Jude is there too.... I'm curious what's going to happen - there's nothing holding my dream!self back from him now.

I think my dreams are getting more interesting.

I woke the Titans. Well, not all of them. They thought I was their goddess, and I guess I let the power go to my head a little. I thought I could use them to make the world a better place. Boy, was I wrong.

I guess I should have listened to Xena.

Normally I'd stick around after filming an overseas project to spend a little more time with the friends I'd made there but this time I couldn't because of things completely out of my control. How was I supposed to know she was married? Let alone to the guy I was seeing over there? Neither of them were wearing rings not that that would have stopped me.

Part of why I left Australia was for work, but the other part of it is just how damn creepy kangaroos really can be. Proof of that can be found here. They will just stand there, looking in windows for hours, watching people. And it’s disturbing. Also this happens a lot more with them than the nature documentaries probably want people to think.

It's bad enough when your parents don't want you to do something new and different, but to have a bully literally push you to the ground and tell you it'd never happen?

I guess in my dreams I'm still the untouchable girl. Not just in my sport of choice, but personally too.

When you're famous, everyone assumes you're popular and have people around you all the time, and they all assume they're not good enough.

And you end up going to dances alone because no one bothered to ask you.

Okay so guys? I kind of woke up at 4am glowing. No I mean, I was *glowing in the dark* levels of glowing. Bright bright glowy Jaune. Was that my aura? Am I all Aura-y now?

Okay, the situation is dire now. It's really time to move out of my parents' house. My brothers are talking about renting a house, and I don't want to be here alone with my mom and dad. (They're great, it's just... it's time.)

So... suggestions? I thought I'd ask here first in case someone has any advice re: Dreamers and housing. Or something.

Apparently even heroes need a break. Though I can't exactly blame my dream self for shutting herself off from the world for an entire century. I didn't get involved except for once where I went after a killer and thief and left him for the FBI to take care of. But now Lex Luthor has something that belongs me and I intend to get it back. Which is the only reason I plan to attend his little fundraiser party he will be hosting.

Sounds like the snow is disappearing back in the UK. My mum isn't snowed in anymore so that's a good thing. Still crazy how everything just stopped for a few days. Still hopefully things can start going back to normal over there now. Well maybe after the flood warnings.

Vegas, Baby!

There are those trips that I love. I get to go to Vegas, stay a couple nights, then fly my group home again.

Cards and dice are what's on the menu.

I haven't had any new dreams since the whole mutant deportation debacle, which left off on a kind of cliffhanger because of course it did.

So I know more is coming and it's probably going to be bad because it always is, but I don't know when or what will happen.

I think I've passed anxiety into acceptance.

I dreamed I planned a big surprise for my sister's birthday. And then caught a cold.

So much better than the anxiety of previous dreams, like the whole nearly killing her thing.

First week of filming on the new pilot has finished!! Oh my gosh, you guys are gonna LOVE this show! It's crazy and wonderful! I think we're filming a few more things next week, then they're gonna run it through some test audiences and whatnot before we proceed. Fingers crossed!

I'm celebrating with a giant Frappuccino!!

Apparently instead of rebuilding our barn that came down in January, my brother has gotten it in his head that he’d rather have a greenhouse. He’s already gotten the structure built. On the plus side, he’s going to be growing vegetables in there (which he has told me he expects me to use when I cook – twist my arm…). On the downside, though, I’ve lost my workspace to work on my own vehicles. I don’t want to take up a bay at Rainbow Motors that would be better used on a customer’s car for my personal projects. Does anyone have a space they wouldn’t mind renting to me?

Right well, that was a strange dream. It's official, this set of Dreams is officially the one the diverges the most from what is expected. A revolutionary tribunal? Eh, been there before. Even Robespierre being there isn't that odd. But to not only be denounced by my former understudy and Armand's lover, but for Chauvelin to be the one to try and save my life? I.... I have no words. Of course then claiming I believe in France but not the madness that has taken over condemned me to la guillotine, but really. Chauvelin.

But in less odd dream things, the setlist for next weeks performances at the Catalina Bar has been finalized, and because I was able to bring back the Donny Nova band, some of the songs will have a swing band instead of just me and a piano. So I'm even more excited for the performance than I already was.

Is it just me or did this month just whiz by? Spring break is going to be here before I know it.

Talked to my mom earlier today, which was nice cause it reminds me how much luckier I am than my dream self since she thinks I'm a monster in my dreams. I feel bad for dream me a lot of the time cause he has to go through so much crap.

There are those days that you just wake up and need to do something, good or bad, to keep yourself from going crazy. What is that thing to do - especially after another round of reruns starring yourself as a prisoner and science experiment? No wonder I'm in that kind of mood.

Maybe it’s just me, but I much prefer patrolling when nothing crazy is going on. When the craziest thing I have to deal with is a mugger and not alien mercenaries and earthquakes that cause buildings to fall down on my girlfriend. I enjoy when I can just sit on the edge of a building and watch everything down below.

I came home from school very confused to find enough flowers and sushi that I could open my own seafood restaurant and florist shop in one. I think there’s also cookware. What’s going on? My birthday and valentines are both already over with. Did I win some sort of contest I don’t remember entering?

I spent several hours watching Curling both today and yesterday. It's actually quite engrossing and once you understand the rules, exciting to watch.

Well those are words I thought I'd never say about such an odd sport.

Man, last night was so fucking great, right up until I fell asleep. Apparently, hockey games make for great fucking dates. Who knew? The Ducks kicked the Star's ass, too. Now I'm going to have to find a copy of The Mighty Ducks for Chris to watch. Too bad Blockbuster isn't a thing anymore.

Too bad I had to finish the night by having another fucking Dream. I have seen way too many bodies that were half-eaten by animals lately. Ugh I'm going to be sick. This hangover is not helping.

I love early morning flights that have been delayed. I could have slept in, but no such luck there. What they don't know is how many things I had to readjust because their dog-sitter was late. A had to resubmit a flight plan for their dog-sitter. It's going to be that kind of day.

I know that most people aren't gonna care, but I just had a pokemon defending a gym for over three days! Longest I've ever had one in a gym. Looks like Walrein is my new go to gym defender.

Okay, now that I've got the geek part of this post out of the way; how is it that most of my stuff has been occupying only one room of our apartment, but it's taking me forever to pack? I'm moving to the Institute with Izzy, which will be fun and different. It's just taking me forever to pack.

Seems like I find myself doing this a lot lately but - I need some help from law enforcement that knows about the Dreams because something...Penny’s back in the hospital because of his. An overdose this time instead of getting stabbed, so... that’s at least a little less messy right?

Actually - I could kind of use some help from anyone with medical experience too with this one. The doctors are having trouble treating him because he didn’t actually take anything.

I always thought parents were suppose to be the supportive type. You know, the kind that tell their kids they can do whatever they set their minds to and that they can be whatever they want to be. It seems my parents are the 1% in that area, both real and dream like.

I know they're just trying to protect me, want me to be safe, but telling your kid to settle?

I have a feeling I know what my next dream might be.
