So, the guy who tried to kill me might not actually be dead. My parents hate the guy I'm with, and they're sending my friends and me to a shrink. The town doesn't believe us (what else is new) and I'm absolutely finished with these damn Dreams.

I hear people are bursting into song. Is anyone else... um... jingling when they sing? Because I've been... uh.... jingling. At least, that's what my brothers call it.

I had a five-minute conversation with my boss in which I jingled the entire time.

I don't think he noticed.

Can someone who understands fashion better than me tell me why male rompers are a thing? Or why anyone would want to wear one that looks like a pizza? Or a pineapple?

I really hate the last few days. I really, really do. Are other people having issues? Text messages I meant to send to my mom went to my brother, and vice versa.

Mom wasn't impressed with my language.

Something's weird with my cell network, I just know it.

I think that there should be some kind of meet up for those of us with mechanical skills. It might be fun! We could build things. Have contests!

Anyways with tat said, new dreams came in. Aunt May is awesome for an old lady.. Found out who's controlling the animals. Some hunter named Kraven, who of course was hired by Castle to attack me, just so the stalker can sit at a house roof across my dads and try to catch me unmasked and exposed. Luckily my power up device was malfunctioning..

Still.. Frank you owe me drinks if I'm going to be dreaming about you constantly trying to kick my ass!

I swear these dreams get crazier and crazier by the minute.... Now my dream dads house is over run by snakes and when i tried to escape Im face to face with a panther and an orangutan!

Like seriously, what the hell dreams....

I want these so bad. So bad I can almost taste it. And it tastes like strawberry cheesecake.

I am so hung over... an bruised to no end.....

I completely forgot what it was like to Dream. It has been so long since I've had any Dreams that I wasn't expecting this to happen and was completely caught off guard.

I knew where my Dreams had left off and it was basically on a cliffhanger, but nothing prepared me to be dropped back into them and immediately into battle. I had to do battle with someone who has been back and forth across the lines of bad and good when it comes to my life. Unfortunately he became a casualty this time around and I woke up with the guilt of the situation looming over me. Not a great start to my Sunday.

So... My Valentine's Day was going amazing... Spent the morning with the bestie doing a girls brunch. Than that afternoon I treated myself to spa and ice cream. And where did my night end? In the freaking hospital, because some asshole was robbing a jewelry store and stupid me forgetting I don't have my abilities anymore, tried to stop him....

Happy freaking Valentine's day to me....

Had a great trip back home to see the folks. You know, I haven't been gone for all that long, just what? 8 months since I moved out here? Jesus, it seems like a lot longer than that. Still, it was good to see my parents and my aunt again and a few of my old friends.

Still, kinda nice to be back.

Had the weirdest dream. I mean, anyone else have a decade missing? Like mine skipped ten or twelve years, with only the...barest vague memories of the between time.

And then I went to bed early and I woke up from a new dream.

At least now I know where I was a year after Order 66 the end of the Clone Wars.

I haven't been dreaming of the 30's for a while, but I guess the Dreams, or whatever controls them, decided to give me the motorcycle I drove in them. For something that's about 81 years old, this thing is surprisingly as good as new. Kinda can't wait to take it out for a ride.

You know, one thing is being a super-hero in my world. Another ting is bringing my two best friends who are also super-heroes from other worlds here. BUT to completely loose one of those super-hero friends is not cool....

And than I had to take the other to 'band practice'.... I don't even know I'm still part of that band anyways....

OHMYGOD Words with Friends. I seriously thought I was gonna suck at this game. But guess what? I'm not terrible.

I... I think I watched ten hours of Netflix today. I can't tell if I'm proud of myself, or a little embarrassed and ashamed. Either way, I think my butt's asleep.

Serious Question: where could one potentially fire a newly-acquired grenade launcher without getting arrested?

Does anyone else experience complete stories for their Dreams? I keep expect these to be going somewhere, but every night it's a new Dream with a new mystery to solve. Also...I still seem to be stuck in the earlier part of the last century.

After quite a bit of work, I'm pleased to announce that Blue Dragon Tattoo Parlour is now open for business, and I'll be taking both walk ins and appointments.

Though, if you're looking for an infinity symbol on your wrist, you can go elsewhere.

So yes. I've been quiet here for a bit too long. But I have a good reason. My dad decided to fly out a week before father's day with no warning. Which prompted Uncle Paul to drive over. Which led to him playing tour guide for a week. I've seen more of this city this week than I have since I moved here. So I now know the best spot for Mexican food, where to avoid because people get murdered... Uncle Paul has a very interesting profession.

Dad is in town until Thursday, he finally told me last night he also has some clients to visit. But I finally was able to get back to my computer. So yes. I'm not dead. Just slightly sunburnt. Someone stole my hat.

Finally. My kinda pizza.

Not exactly the best of Dreams last night, but at least things feel like they're moving forward. Changing. There's progress, at least. I guess I owe Caroline a debt for forcing me back into that safe?

Have I ever mentioned how weird these Dreams are, and knowing people in the Real World who are also in my Dreams is twisting my mind into uncomfortable pretzels?

So after dreaming the same damn dream for three weeks, last night and the night before I finally dreamed something different. First my brother and I get involved in a mystery having to do with smugglers. Then we get involved in a case having to do with counterfeiting. Then last night I dreamed that we were investigating not only a bank robbery and the theft of two boats but the kidnapping of two of our friends. And then this morning I dreamed we went to Montana, of all places to investigate a claim about missing gold.

In two freaking nights my brother and I solved four different crimes. I have never been involved in solving so many cases in such a short amount of time, not even when I was a P.I.

I'm fucking exhausted.

Also, I should point out that all this takes place in the 1930's, which would be interesting if not for that fact that I caught myself telling a customer that his brand new car was swell. Swell. Jesus Christ, who talks like that?!

Early morning phone call from Hannah this morning panicking because I didn't answer for our call last night. That's what I get for going to bed early to see if I get more of these dreams. I think she thought I was in trouble or something... which actually isn't usually that far off. I'm just glad my ringer was on otherwise she might have called Uncle Paul to come check on me.

But yes. More dreams. New manuscript nearly done. And it's Friday. Doesn't really get any better.

So two dreams running I've been wearing clothing reminiscent of the 1930s. This isn't the first time I've had dreams where Dad went missing... Especially after he really did go missing for that week when I was 11. But this was just... odd.

I remember Helen's engagement vividly. Jim proposed to her during the intermission of the play he was producing. It didn't involve any mysteries, fake hauntings, secret rooms or anything out of the 1930s. Where the hell are these coming from? Mind you this isn't the first time a case has involved one of these, but those two events had nothing to do with one another.

I saw the funniest sight today while on a coffee run for work. There was this doll, maybe two feet high, just walking down the street with a muffin in her hand.

The animatronics were flawless! It was really like a porcelain little girl just meandering down the streets of Orange County. Does anyone know if it was a promotional stunt? Perhaps Pixar's new project?

Now that I'm a little more unpacked it's time for me to find a job so I can actually help with living expenses. And since I got so many great leads on places to eat, I thought maybe I'd come here and see if anyone knows of a shop looking to hire a mechanic.

My body is still on East Coast time. If I were still in New York, I'd be getting up for a run right now, but I'm not about to go running in a strange place at 4 in the morning.

Since I can't get back to sleep, I'm on the internet instead, mostly just to confirm I'm not the last person on Earth. This was the first local forum that came up in my search.

Anyone got any recommendations for a good place to get breakfast?
