I'm not sure how they manage it, but kids always seem to be so... sticky. The children in my class manage it between their parents dropping them off and the start of the school day, it's remarkable.

If anyone has time this weekend, the school I work with is having a Fall fete, it's on Saturday at 2 at Turtle Rock Elementary.

[Private to Luke & Theo]
What're we doing for Thanksgiving this year?

Are children not naturally sticky? I believed they just attracted mess.

I mean, they are often sticky but they’re outdoing themselves with the frequency of stickiness-of-suspicious-origins.

You don’t even know where it’s coming from?

More than half the time, I have no idea.

That seems decidedly suspicious and like they may be plotting something.

I mean, they're probably not plotting anything since they're four year olds...

I did my best plotting as a four year old. I was exceptionally creative.

Plotting as in how to get extra time out of bed or world domination plotting?

I believed it was world domination. But it was mostly how to get more coins than my sister. Or how to make her mess up. Or how to frame my brother for something I did.

That is very advanced for a four year old, I'm impressed.

I had a curious upbringing. Scheming was encouraged early on.

It sounds like it. Whilst I’m pretty sure that these are just little children who are up to normal mischief, if I was to look for signs of scheming... what might I find?

Practised innocence. I hoarded things a lot, tool like things. Probably whoever is the best liar. Or attempts to deflect attention the most.

It sounds like your upbringing might have been quite difficult, if you developed those skills at a young age.

It was ... complex. But I think that's just how it was meant to be.
