After the piano I didn’t think anything else would surprise me.

I was wrong.

So wrong.

Dream!me has a problem that much is evident. Not that I blame him all things considered.

Wouldn't you be more worried that a piano was just the start of things?

It feels like starting small is the way things go, and if a piano is 'small', there's a chance you're just going to get more and more shocked each time.

Thanks for that optimistic view of things. If that’s the case I think I should just get drunk and stay drunk.

That actually was fairly optimistic for me. Pessimism would've sounded way less upbeat.

It's not a bad idea, but you'll probably walk into a bunch of random things that just appear.

Maybe try using some emojis, it might help the upbeat tone come across better ;)

Wake up with bumps and bruises that I have no recollection of. Wouldn’t be the first time, heh

Right, emojis. How could I forget those blessed additions to the English language.

It's bad enough walking into a coffee table that you know is there, but I can't imagine waking up to a new built in bar and just rolling with the stubbed toe.

Hey, could have been worse. I could have suggested text speak ;)

I did wake up with a broken hand once and still can’t to this day remember how it happened.

I would need to shoot myself in the face just to be able to do that.

But is that weird OC related or black out drunk related? Because I think if it's the latter, you might have to admit non-dream you has at least the inkling of an issue.

Yeah, let’s try to avoid that. It’s a nice face.

Never claimed otherwise. I know I have issues. Not as many as dream me but still...

Tsneh Thank you?, I guess.

Then at least it's somewhat quantitative. On the scale of issues yours and the other version of you are not on par. That is probably some kind of an accomplishment.

You’re welcome. Call it how I see it.

Yeah even if people I know would disagree with that statement but hey.

Likely easier than just beating around the bush about things.

Now who is being a pessimist?

Not really my deal. Much to my father’s dismay. If he wasn’t in business he’d be a politician.

Maybe I need help with making my glass half empty half full?

Oh yeah, they have to beat around the bush. I guess to a degree a businessman has to as well.

Despite the very awkward phrasing there that made my eye twitch, maybe you do. But I might need a few drinks to get there.

He does have a way with words.

Not my finest work I’ll admit. We can either meet up somewhere or you can come to my place which might not have a bar but it’s well supplied.

Well then that might just be how he is.

Darn, no bar, you should get dreaming and conjure one up. But a stocked apartment is probably better than a nosy bar anyway.

More’s the pity.

Couldn’t agree more. My address is [here]. Just buzz and I’ll let you in.
