My next door neighbor's car alarms have gone off at least three times tonight. I have no idea what's going on, but it's getting a little out of control. And there it goes again. This had better not continue all night. I'll never be able to sleep if this keeps happening.

Man, there's just something about the ocean and catching a wave that does shit to a guy. Takes you right out of the bullshit that's going on around you and puts you on a whole other plane of existence. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but nothing screams escape like just getting lost out at sea and feeling it pull at the board underneath your feet.

Lost count of how long I can spend out there just catching waves and forgetting the rest of the world exists but I figure better that than being at home where Smurf's stressed out because one of Craig's bimbos ruined her new rug.

I definitely do not have time for that.

Having Chip stay with me while Amycus and Regulus are away has made me realize I want a dog of my own. Not as large as he is of course - I don’t think I could afford that amount of food each month for one thing. For another I’m fairly certain he’d take up my entire couch forcing me to sit on the floor to watch anything in the living room. And then there’s the matter of just how much he’d shed. No I think a smaller less hairy breed is the way to go for me. Does anyone know of any rescue groups or shelters that specialize in those types of breeds? Possibly one who won’t drive my neighbors absolutely mad with nonstop barking while I”m in class and at work?
