Since certain people have told me in no uncertain terms I can't sleep at the office, it's apartment hunting time.

and here I'd gotten used to stability

It's July 4th and while some of us are probably pretty cranky about the 'murrica feels, I myself welcome any reason to party.

So I bought out the local water park for the day. We've got bouncy castles, all the grilled food you can handle, a DJ who isn't trying to play Americana songs every three seconds, and probably more fireworks than are strictly legal going off as soon as the sun cooperates with us and gets its ass gone for the day.

Bring your sunscreen and swimwear and come on over. Even if you had other plans. We're gonna be here for a while, por que no los dos?

For the record, I've canceled Independence Day. Today is officially Jeff Goldblum day.

So toss in your blurays and celebrate with me today!

Realising that I probably don't have clothes for the trip planned resulted in a trip to the shops. I don't know how anyone deals with this. I don't think shorts that short are a great idea for potential climbing rocks.

Skimpy tops are a little confusing too, I can't tell what's the front and what's the back.

So I think an outdoors centre would be better, at least there I can find proper activity wear.
