Oh so glad I got hit with a cold during the holiday weekend. Everything was manageable until Friday when it feels like a sledgehammer hit me in the face, which I have to say I'm glad that only lasted a day, but now I'm in the lovely hacking up my lungs stage and I could not sleep last night. Anyone got any good tricks on preventing a cough? I try not to take too much Mucinex, but I feel like trying to fall asleep makes everything worse.

On the plus side, all my napping meant I had a lot of Dreaming to do, which was actually fairly interesting. It's amusing how my friends and I are little shits in this world and the dream world when we were growing up. And I did have my first taste of power when I managed to get my cell phone to fly across the room to me, which reminded me a little bit of Star Wars, but I also may have fallen asleep to a marathon on TV.

Alright.

It's taken me some time but I think I'm ready to discuss Game of Thrones.

Okay, I'd rather not have a repeat of Friday. Nearly meeting the Grim Reaper face-to-face once was more than enough, thanks.

Though apparently people can still Dream while in a coma. So. I hate to burst the bubble of anyone who thinks a coma might keep you from Dreaming further because that's not necessarily going to happen. In my case, it helped save my life, so I'm definitely glad for that.

And yet I had the creepiest nightmares during that time as well. I have no idea where they came from, but I'd really like to pretend it was just a glimpse of Hell. Or it was the drugs I was under the influence of. Either way, I'd rather not repeat those.

On another note, I'm going to be in dire need of distractions because my wonderful doctor has forbidden me from leaving bed, and I don't do well just sitting here doing nothing.

Well it turns out that I can still be surprised by my clients and their requests. They want a costume party/BBQ for the Fourth of July. And while I normally hate the idea of costumes except for Halloween from what we’ve talked about so far I can’t say I actually hate this one.

Even for me this dream was...different. A little girl showed up at our school looking for her older brother, who is the head of the black magic club that meets at the same time as our Host Club, but apparently she hasn't seem him in so long that all she remembers is that he has blonde hair. So when she sees me she thinks that I'm him and before we can convince her that she's mistaken and take her to her actual brother two of their servants show up to take her home and we find out that the reason they haven't seen each other is he scares her in his occult wear because she's afraid of the dark. And because he's afraid of the light he always wears his cloak so there's no chance for her to be around him and not scared of the 'monster'.

Umehito, her brother, comes in when he hears she's there looking for him and frightens her really badly so he leaves and I work with Renge to come up with a plan to help. Which turns out to be a makeover for him that turns him into a prince like she thinks he is who will rescue her from the 'monster'. Step one is convincing him to give up his occult wear because he's fear of the light and that it'll kill him or something is just in his mind. It doesn't work out exactly like what he planned but he does save her! From an unfriendly cat not a monster and then he collapses from being exposed to the sun for so long so...Renge and I were a little wrong that it wouldn't actually hurt him.
