Apparently Tip decided he’d rather run away than drink that potion, so he got up before Mombi the next day and took off... after looting the house for food and helping himself to the Powder of Life, because then she can’t use it for mischief. I know myself, and since Tip is me I guess - I’m pretty sure he’s going to use it for mischief. But at least he won’t be a statue and that’s what I was hoping for really.

He’s going to take Jack with him, which I’m happy about because Jack was made by Tip. The old witch just brought him to life. Since we’re leaving we might as well head to the Emerald City in the center of Oz. So looks like I get to go on an adventure of my own in the dreams.

Getting shot sucks.

Last time I woke up with a nice new scar but none of the blood. This time I can barely move my shoulder.

I guess something like this was going to happen eventually.

My poor mother got one of those nasty viral infections. I suppose I should be grateful it wasn't another cancer relapse and that as a vampire I can't catch her cold. Glad she's starting to feel better.

Man, I can't believe it's already Easter tomorrow. Time really flies. It's my first Easter with Chris so I gotta make it good. I'm thinking I'll buy a bunch of chocolate eggs tonight after work and I'll hide them in the park near my apartment in the morning.

Any idea where the best outdoor hiding spots are? I was thinking putting some up in the trees but I don't know how good of a climber Chris is

As we're getting ready for the holiday, (Easter for some, April Fool's Day for others), I figured it would be nice to reflect a bit. The BBC's This Week in Pictures really hit the spot. Can you imagine playing soccer on an ice flow? It makes the local ponds we'd skate on back home look as safe as a skating rink!
