( OH MY GOD IT'S A THING AND I NEED ONE )

Some of the things I've read on here, recently, are really fucking crazy and I'm not sure if you're all insane or just have extremely vivid imaginations.

There's a famous quote from the play I'm currently in rehearsals for, and I'm going to burst everyone's bubble but like nearly everything else Shakespeare wrote, it's a dick joke.

“Be not afraid of greatness. Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and others have greatness thrust upon them.”

I've been gaining more and more control over my compulsion as well as my blood lust. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that my dreams have no spanned about a hundred years or the help I've been getting from other vampires here. Either way, I'm happy to have more control over both.

I'll admit, I've been using my compulsion to my advantage a little bit. There is a woman I work with who has continued to ask me why I was working from home for some time after I turned. She didn't seem to believe I was sick. After all, I couldn't, very well, tell her that I didn't come in because I might have killed her and everyone else; not to mention I couldn't go out during the day at that time. Today she asked me again and I finally compelled to believe that I was sick and not to ask again.

I have to say, the people I worked with in the office in Paris were much less nosy than the ones here.
