I was this article today and I was drawn to it, partly because I was curious about what they were going to say a polyamorous relationship needed and partly because I am in a polyamorous relationship. I never expected that I'd be in this sort of relationship, but for us it simply felt natural. No one had to talk anyone into it and as the article mentions, we have always had open communication and consent. Sometimes I feel that, were relationships like this accepted in the time our dreams take place, things may have turned out differently there.

So I'm doing Steampunk for Halloween this year. I've got a fantastic dress and accessories and I don't work tomorrow, so I'll have plenty of time to do my hair and makeup and won't have to rush around. I can't wait to go out tomorrow night; especially since I won't have to babysit Ripper!Stefan this year. ;)

Attention, everyone. Some of you may have already noticed that creatures have invaded the county. They are called Grimm. Some of you I know are already familiar with them. However, for those that are not there are a few key things you need to know.

First. Grimm are attracted to negative emotions. The stronger the emotion, the larger the beast that can and will be attracted. For this reason, I must ask that you remain as calm and positive as possible, especially if you choose to fight them.

For those who do not or need a respite, I offer my shop, Emerald City Cafe, as a temporary haven from the Grimm. Rest assured you will be safe there.

Mindin' my own business, got knocked off my bike by this thing. Looked like a kinda demonic wolf. Still died pretty easy though.

Oh hell no, not today. Nothing breaks into my club. I am not in the mood.

Halloween has been a blast. Thank you for being the Wendy to my Peter Pan, Davina. And for getting Mare the Tinkerbell costume for her very first Halloween.

The Halloween class party was a lot of fun. I had four parents come in to help out and they had such awesome activities planned. One of them was little teeny pumpkins that they either added legs and eyes to for a spider, wings and eyes for a bat or tape and eyes for a mummy. We played pin the face on the jack-o-lantern and had the cutest ghost and Frankenstein cupcakes.

I probably should have gotten groceries because all I have are some really old leftovers and I would feel bad asking someone to deliver food to me with monsters running around out there.

I'm not sure exactly what's going on, but I think I'm going to make my boyfriend come with me to a bar so we can get drunk and pretend it's a normal night. I'm getting tired of this shit.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Halloween event on Saturday night, we had a wonderful time reading spooky stories to the children, painting faces and celebrating Halloween together! We look forward to hosting a Thanksgiving event in November for you all, so let me know if you have any suggestions you'd like me to consider for the event!
