My escrima sticks and Katana were basically useless today. My sticks basically turned rubbery and my Katana kept getting stuck in it's scabbard. I'm glad I wasn't the only one, from the looks of it, but it's really freakin' inconvenient.

Two things I've learned today. That thing can pull a ship from orbit, and phasers aren't having much of an effect on it.

Well that was an interesting trip out to the tar pits. I've never felt like I was floating up into the air when I wasn't high before. And I sure as hell have never levitated. I told the client to either pick a new area for their party or find a new planner because whatever that thing is, regardless of how long it might or might not be out there, I'm not going out there again. Partly because of what happened but mostly because I found the entire area boring

I never thought I'd actually be saying something like this but after the chaos of the last few days, I miss when the worst I had to worry about my boyfriend doing was tying some red balloons to sewer grates.
