Oh, wow. You people really are serious. That's cute. I guess there's no point busting in here advising any of you to get therapy for your daddy issues.

Anyway, since this quasi-dream diary Facebook also allows random inquiries, if anyone has recommendations of places that don't suck around here for entertainment that'd be much appreciated. It's been awhile since I've roamed around the childhood land and a lady could use a list from the locals. The more variety, the better. Dining, clubbing, theatre, concerts, lounges - none of that 'get tickets to the bay and watch dolphins mate' because that's not a beautiful experience.

And don't mention Disney. Been there, done that, and I still have bad memories of a sibling tossing her cookies onto my lap after a coaster ride.

Garden planned for spring already set, everything I need acquired. It's kind of nice having a lot of space to plan for a garden. I know I'll be spending time around the world, but, magic helps regulate the care of the plants.

Alright, alright, alright... (I did this in my best Matthew Mcconaughey impression right there (and also I totally had to google how to spell that name.) ) I have decided to heed the advice of friends and have joined up with this network with all you weirdos out there.

And by weirdos, I mean lovely people, some of whom I may know, most of whom I do not.

I'm Lincoln by the way, learning the ropes of networking. They say as a college student I should be spending half of my collegiate experience, at least, networking. So, here I am. My first official network post will be this--how the hell does anyone afford to board a horse around here? I've been away from Epona for way too long now and I miss her.

Also, I've only lived here in LA for a bit, and haven't had a ton of money, so I'm still trying to find the best places to grab a steak, because I'm from Montana and most of your guys' steaks I've had here are... well let's just say I prefer making my own. Though my grill is a bit suspect.

Where did January go? My goodness.

Of course, for the record, the Need/Want will be doing Valentine's things. I'm still learning about the holiday, but I promise it'll be delightful.

Starfish apparently have...a lot more legs than previously expected. I'm beginning to understand why they say the sea is like outerspace.

Still have no idea how it knows where it's going.

I'll be performing a show for free on Valentine's Day. In addition to free admission, there will be free wine and snacks.

Happy Chinese New Year to any who may celebrate it here. It is at least a bright spot in the current bleak atmosphere.
