This is mostly for the other ladies here. All month other girls I know have been posting on facebook about how it's fall now and they don't have to shave their legs. Maybe it's just me, but I can't go more than two days without shaving my legs. So can someone explain to me why you would stop shaving just because it's fall?

My dreams are still all over the place. In some of them I'm older, and others I'm very young. It's strange, to say the least, but interesting all the same. I dreamt last night about the night the Nine-Tails attacked the village, and the Yondaime died. I'd been left alone to watch my little brother while my parents were out working when the attack happened. We survived, of course, I managed to get my brother and a girl named Izumi to one of the shelters in the village. We were some of the lucky ones, and for that I am grateful.

Well after months of looking, I’ve finally found the right dog for my family. I’d decided on the breed but it was a matter of finding the right one. Allow me to introduce you all to Aslan.

He’s a Tibetan Mastiff, and the twins are already nuts about him. He’s small enough for them to play with him without him hurting them but big enough that he won’t get hurt. After seeing how big his parents are though - I’m glad that my house is large enough to handle a big dog, and is already childproofed so there’s very little chance of him breaking anything.

Halloween inspired dishes? Yeah, I think that's next on my list.

Sometimes skills from your Dreams transfer over, like, fencing. That was a fun day at work.

I think I legitimately caught a cold for the first time in years. Ugh, if it's one thing I cannot stand it's being sick.

I must say, I really do enjoy the night nowadays. It took a little awhile but I'm used to it now.

You know, I keep hearing about people one day living on Mars, and that's great. Though just as a warning, don't drink the water there.

Montreal passed a pit bull ban, which means any pit that doesn't have a home is going to be put down, just like that. Can't be adopted or anything. Montreal is apparently full of wankers. I understand a woman was mauled, but it's not the breed of a dog that makes it violent. Honestly, the city council is just making more problems with this ban.

So I'm thinking of putting together a photography portfolio for my college coursework and I'm on the lookout for a model or two. It's not really a medium I've experimented with before, so I'd be looking for models who have a lot of patience and don't mind me playing about with angles and settings etc. Any takers?

Farewell Rosetta! Pretty cool way to end a mission in space in my opinion. Shame they weren't able to get all the information they hoped for though. Hopefully they gained enough data to try and minimise encountering the same problems on future missions.

How glad I am for modern stage lighting! What a read that was! Those poor girls! I can't imagine dancing on a stage knowing that my tutu might catch fire and cause my death.
