I got the news today! I will be promoted to the corps de ballet! This is fantastic news because it means I will be able to audition for the winter production of Swan Lake. I've never danced in Swan Lake before! Wow. I can't believe this is real. I'm going to be dancing with a real ballet company. What a rush!

Man, I don't know how it happened, but someone got maple syrup on the table I do palm readings at. I mean, I'm guessing it's maple syrup. It's sticky like maple syrup. My theory is that some asshole was eating a McDonald's breakfast before they came in for a reading. Anyway, I was out of furniture polish and I had to dip into my rainy day fund to buy more. #AdultProblems

Do people usually just up and vanish around here? Is it a problem connected with the Dreams? If not, I think one of my friends skipped town with no explanation and I'm really just... Baffled.

Is it so much to ask that everyone I care about be healthy and in one piece?

In other news, my mother is recovering nicely. A visit is being planned for October, so all of you will be meeting the cutest British married couple on the face of this Earth in a month. They're curious about how I'm living my life over here so shhh, don't tell them anything scandalous.

I never want to be sick like that again.

I hope everyone else is recovering.

Spent the last few days on the floor in my new apartment because I don't have a bed yet. But I've got a fantastic sleeping bag. (AKA, Anyone selling an old bed? Know where I can get one cheap?)

Sorry, Wash, that I didn't have more comfortable accommodations for you. I bet you're glad to be back home.

One week into my Maternity Leave and I've gone completely stir crazy. Ben and I are hanging out all day, playing alphabet games and reading books, and all I want is to not be pregnant anymore! (Aka, to have the new baby out and in my arms! Hopefully less than 10 days to baby. Fingers crossed for me?

While taking care of my girlfriend this weekend, I dreamed that while the old man version of my father was recovering, robbers broke into my apartment.

Robbers broke into The Wolverine's apartment. With two wolverines, a younger wolverine clone of me and a literal real wolverine animal. There's like fourteen claws between us and that doesn't include the animal.

That's like breaking into Captain America's house, when he and the Avengers are sitting down having breakfast.

We almost couldn't stop laughing to kick their butts.

So yeah. Eyebleeding. That was fun. except N O P E. Gonna blame this on OC? I've never had anything that involved fucking eye bleeding before. Jeez.

We sent some of my crew to investigate a stellar phenomena. We lost contact with the shuttle, and I have a Commissioner breathing down my neck to abandon them. Granted, we're delivering medical supplies, but the rendezvous is five days away. So we have time to search, while still making the rendezvous.

I hate people giving me orders on my ship.

How many times is it actually possible to split up with someone? I mean, honestly, I think we're at five times.

At least I can count on Barney to be his predictably idiotic self.

Other than the strange sickness that went around, September has been pretty good for me so far. We've moved into a new house and I started full time at Much Ado About Books. I am hoping the rest of the month goes as well.

Well I suppose it's somewhat reassuring to know that Orange County didn't go and get normal on us while Dorian and myself were away. A shame the latest strange occurrence was something which was so unpleasant.

Having been in the hospital for the last few days makes me very happy to be home. I can safely say that I never want to bleed from my eyes again. I'm also dreading going back to work after getting sick there. I don't know how I'll face my boss again after that. At least I don't have to go back until Monday. It will give me more time to decide how to approach it.

It's good to be home again.

Maybe it's just me but it's hard to get rest in a hospital. Now to just sleep for the next two days.

I should have known better then to think that my dreams would have been over after going back home. Also, having a dream within a dream is still weird. Grover was running from a cyclops and ran into a wedding shop and then it exploded. Of course I have no idea what it means. Then at school the next day, I was in gym class playing dodgeball when I was attacked by two Laistrygonian Giants. They tried killing me with exploding dodgeballs, but Tyson ended up protecting me and to my surprise he was unaffected by them. Of course Annabeth showed up and killed one of the giants then she called a taxi to take us back to camp.

I'm so glad I've never been attacked by any monsters at school.
