THIS video just made me decide that I'm going to invest in sarongs this summer. This is so cool. Who knew there were so many different ways to tie a sarong?

Last weekend was a trip, this weekend looks like it's going to be a normal one. Which isn't a bad thing, but it's nice to have a little crazy every now and again.

Hello all,

My name is Jamie Moriarty, and I am the regional director of the National Organisation to Prevent Violence Against Women - or NOVAW, if you will. I will be running a new chapter of our women's shelter, which will be opening on May 15th. There will be a grand opening gala that day to which all of the public is invited. My primary purpose in making this post, however, is to encourage anyone and everyone interested to volunteer for the event and the shelter in general. We could use quite a bit of help.

My mother is coming out to visit for Mother's Day. Really, she has a meeting for her new summer line and it just happens to fall on Mother's Day, so we're going to go out for brunch. Chances are it'll get cut short because she'll get called away, but I haven missed her so I figured I should take her out.

Bit by scrapsy bit, got my ship nearly altogether! Short some bits and bobs here, but can you imagine? If I get those last thingamabobs, I'll have to consider selling Arthur! Not the horse, of course. Wouldn't dream of selling her! Suppose I could fit her back in my ship now that I think about it. The horse, not the car. Anyway.

Face swappity-swap aside, how are the lot of you denizens of the world's zaniest county?

Once the semester is over, I'm planning on doing some proper sightseeing. What would everyone suggest?
