Not only does our SUV now have Rudolph antlers and a nose, but today Lian built a snowman with the assistance of some misfit toys. I shit you not! There was a train with square wheels on its caboose and a cowboy who was riding an ostrich. What does it say about you when you look outside, see this and don't even give it a second thought?

So, is everyone ready for Christmas? Less than a week everyone!

I really wish people wouldn't ask me why I hate Christmas. The real answer sucks. I just wish people would remember not everyone has a good family, so it's not "horrible" that I'm not going home for Christmas.

Sorry. I shouldn't be so negative, but sometimes it's hard not to when I basically get scolded by strangers for not being cheerful enough.

Ok, so - Who hasn't even started Christmas shopping?

So, as some of you suspected, or expected, or whatever -

I officially resigned my day job. Purgatory is going well, keeping me comfortable. I haven't had a day off in months, and even if I have the energy, I just can't keep that up. I will actually miss teaching.
