Lots of crazy stuff is going on in my dreams. Stefan has amnesia cause of a witch. Matt is losing time cause he's got a traveler in his head. Katherine is human and gone. I had to finally tell everyone about Bonnie even though she didn't want me to. We had a memorial for her, which was really hard. And Tyler came back during the memorial.

We really get no rest in Mystic Falls.

Lots of posts on being thankful. Some on family. Some on health. Some on life in general. Me? I'm thankful to be myself again and to have my sister. There aren't words enough to show my gratitude for her. Our shop is doing well. It's all-in-all a great time of year for us.

Cyber Monday can't be over soon enough. I'm over the insane shoppers. The crazy level is too high for me.

Last night I dreamed of a wonderful place. I was a huntress of Heven. Demons, giants, dragons, all manner of creatures. We lived by a code, nothing for nothing, everything has it's price. Yet I asked no price of Sera to help her be who she always was.

And then I was rudely ripped to a new reality.

Friendsgiving at Ciao Bella was a success, but who knew the Thanksgiving Holiday could be so bloody long and exhausting? I'm actually ready to get back to work tomorrow at this point. Though I'm a tad jealous of anyone who got to go to Vegas. Maybe I'll go for the New Year.

I hope everyone had a great Holiday. Starting Tuesday, Ciao Bella will start it's Holiday Cocktails and special Holiday desserts. Purgatory will also be selling holiday-themed cocktails. Come and enjoy!

The dreams make me feel weird. Not in the 'lost memories' sense, but in the sense that in my dreams at least, I have one purpose. Just one. And as I dream, those thoughts and that purpose seem to become very prominent. The problem? I have no purpose to fill here.

I guess I feel lost, or empty, or something lame along those lines. I'm a cook, at a diner, that's it... sure feels oddly unsatisfactory.

It's official. My life is lame. I just spent the better part of the past weekend creating miniature chainmail out of paperclips... for a certain furry woodland creature.

On the plus side, It turned out awesome.

I've begun reading a wonderful novel called "Ready Player One". It's a wonderful story, and feasts upon nostalgia in a way that is incredibly unique to a novel. I suppose some of it's splendor comes from that, and so maybe it's not as good as I believe; however, I do find the writing clever and fun, the story's enticing and full of laughs and page turning excitement. It's a really wonderful novel, and I intend to use it in my literature class next semester I think.

Court reopens for business as usual on Monday. I thought I'd feel better about that. Right now? I feel as if I could use a holiday to recover from the holiday.

Oh well, such is the life of the working stiff.

Was I the only one working for the holiday? I don't know if most would consider a public appearance working, but let me tell you: it's work for me.

I'm glad to be able to get back to being a guy failing to write an autobiography.

I have to say the thing I really dislike most about Thanksgiving is probably going back to work Monday and having to dodge all of the questions about 'Did you enjoy getting to go see your family?' I know for most people it's just small talk, but for some of us it's just... every bit the wrong question at the wrong time.

Second runner up, my normally quiet library is going to be a madzone for the next few weeks when everyone suddenly remembers they have exams coming up and deadlines they forgot about entirely.
