Was glad to spend Fathers Day with my Dad. The man who inspired my passion for cooking and 1/2 of the team who worked his ass off to ensure I had everything I needed growing up--not everything I wanted, but the things I needed, Dad made sure I had it.

Ok, social media, my doctor said I needed to "get out more" and "meet people", so I'm going to give you a try. I mean, this is considered meeting people, right? Shit, it has the word "social" right in the name.

Up until recently I was a marine. Not that you ever stop being a marine. But it is sort of funny how a medical discharge can suddenly change everything.

Anyway, yeah, just moved to the area and am adjusting to civilian life. Its not been...as easy...as I would have thought. It hasn't been bad, really, just-

Since we seem to be officially done with kidnappings and destruction by a hungry arachnid, and considering the fourth is approaching fast, I'd say that's good timing to actually break in that firepit we keep talking about.

Barbecue (with vegetarian alternatives), drinks, and fireworks assuming people behave and don't break our things. I will put a bullet in your ass otherwise. This might even work as an engagement/house warming celebration, since our last place got bombed and we haven't showed this place too much.

Just whatever you do, if you bring something, avoid the nuts and the mangos. My life thanks you in advance.

These formal fencing classes are a little tougher than I thought they'd be. I figured with all the sword fighting in the dreams I'd have a heads up, I have ideas but no real training to back them up so it doesn't always work out. It's a challenge but I enjoy them. It's really a lot of fun even if I do get used as the demonstration guinea pig often.

Hey. So, recent extra fun dream gave me the wig again. Quick question: did anyone find bones where I slayed the Master? I dunno if you government types have a cleaner crew or something, but it's really important for reasons.

So I broke down and got some Wendy's. And listen, I'm not even completely ashamed... I can cook, but I'gve got no grocerys, Five Guys is a little too pricey for tonight, In 'N Out is too far away, and McDonald's is just kind of too gross sometimes.

You can't judge me right now, I don't get free meals because some sort of stupid demon thing had to go on and burn the place down I was working at.

That being said, I'm totally happy with this decision. Fries in a Frosty? Hell yea.

Now I'm going to sit down and play some god damned Batman. Because it's Tuesday and I've got no date.
