The only downside to having my niece here now is that I have to put away certain things. Before Sarah and Kira showed up, I didn't really have to worry about what I left out, but now I've had to move a lot of things into my room.

Woke up this morning to find out that my dishwasher was still hot. And I turned it off last night after it overheated, no less. Great.

Anyone here who can fix it, or would it be cheaper to get a new one?

Well I have to say I was surprised there weren't more April Fools jokes happening at the studio yesterday. It was all rather quiet. Which had me suspicious all the way up to lunchtime but nobody tried to play any pranks on me so I was happy.

I did however experience a rather vivid dream last night about being in Victorian England, that was unusual. I can only assume it is what everybody has been going on about.

Everyone's going on vacations or away. Who is supposed to keep me in out of trouble now, guys? Don't forget all my goodies you promised to bring back.

So it seems the dreams have a sense of humor. Yesterday, on April Fool's Day no less, I discovered in my closet my Black Panther outfit from my dreams. I would have thought it a prank except it was much too accurate to be one.

( It is literally a giant catsuit, befitting its name even with a cowl shaped like a large jungle cat's head. )

Nothing like a 5-hour flight back home for the weekend...although, there is the whole bringing my celebrity boyfriend with to introduce to the folks that is making me nervous.

Still, it will be nice to be home...

I honestly am exhausted. I not only ran ten miles today but I spent a few hours at the gym with my trainers. I'd taken a little time off to just relax, and I? Am so regretting it.

So yay...

I got my internet hooked up, immediately began to binge watch missed Let's Plays, Netflix shows, and Game Grumps. and of course got my internet quota of cat memes out of the way.

Secondly, I got my new debit card in the mail (aren't you guys glad I'm here to provide you the exciting bits of my life?), so I immediately used it to go and buy an In 'N Out burger, which has essentially stopped my heart twice now.

Oh, and I have enough things unpacked that you could mistake my apartment for a living area.

Anyway, good to be back on this network thingy here. I was on it years ago, back in the day.... back when Netflix Originals were just a dream, a fledgling beginning, where streaming was just beginning to take off, where dinosaurs roamed the earth, and dragons conquered the skies...
