So who's gonna tell me where a man can get a drink around here? And I ain't talking about some fancy place with nice seats and top shelf liquor I can't even afford or pronounce. I'm talkin' about a place to drink that's crawling along the seedy underbelly of whatever bad side of town this City claims to have.

You know what I'm talking about? The kinda place where the ladies are just as likely to fuck you up as the guys are and if you spill your pisswater on someone's shoes you're gonna be in trouble. That's the kinda place I want to be in. I find that kind of environment relaxing, and after a long road trip I could use a little letting off of the steam.

Help a guy out?

I can't believe how little time there is before school starts. Is anyone else panicking? I've got so much shopping to do. And I'm still house-hunting.

I don't suppose there's anyone safe and sane out there who needs a roommate? Close to UCI?

I'm getting too old for social media. I had to get the station intern to make me a facebook.

Do people still even use that?

It turns out, no one actually wins the Hunger Games. And if I thought the last few dreams were awful, I can already tell that these are going to be way worse.

I try not to post every bit of my life on the network (no one wants to hear everything about my pregnancy), but I need some ideas on this one.

Anakin was in an accident almost a week ago and had to be put in a medically induced coma to help him recover. He thankfully awakened on Sunday, but parts of his memory are missing. So, since that happened he's being forced (against his will, he wants to say) to recover in the hospital for a while longer while they monitor him.

And of course this is driving him absolutely insane. Does anyone have any fun tips to pass the time in a hospital room? It would also help me out since I'm spending more of my time here than at our house.

I've seen the lengths that people go to while planning first birthday parties, and I'm not sure I can do something like that. I was thinking something small, something fun for the parents, but nothing huge. She doesn't even have friends, she won't remember it. So long as we get some cute pictures, that's all I really want.

Right? Does anyone else think that sometimes people go a bit overboard for first birthday parties?

Can you believe I had four patients approach me at work, asking that very thing? Four. For fuck's sake.
