There is now a rock opera version of Everyman. A German rock opera, no less. While medieval morality plays are not the first works I would think of when translating into a completely different performance genre, I am always interested in seeing new takes on older works. I hope a full recording of the production will be made available, as the clips I have found are...intriguing.

I'm providing a link that gives some information about the productions as well as couple of videos. The character design for Death--or, in this case, Der Tod--is not exactly work-safe. There are costume breasts. This Death looks like some strange melding of a xenomorph, Gary Oldman's elderly Dracula, and a dominatrix.

Here is link, should any be curious: http://operetta-research-center.org/jedermann-will-rock-erfurt/

Let's just go with last night was the most random night of my life. I am not entirely sure I liked it. But weird to the max, just totally weird. Random and I don't even know how to explain it. Ugh. So glad I'm not opening the shop today, I'd probably drop an engine on my head.

Asanti figured out how to open his stall door last night. I woke up because I heard a noise outside my window. Turn the light on and Asanti's head is on my windowsill, tapping with his nose. I think he wanted carrots. My horses seriously never cease to amaze me.
