So I wasn't hallucinating the other day, right? I mean, my dog came inside covered in snow, not some other stuff? He seems fine, but I had a mind to make sure.

Thankfully that's all over and I can take the chains off of my car. I'm glad I still had them. Almost threw them out. I hope everyone's all right, and that there wasn't much damage.

Now I need an iced coffee.

If there is anyone without heat or safe shelter, my home is large enough to house a good number of people until the ice storm passes. Reply here and I can give you our address. Well I'm glad that snow, ice whatever storm has passed, because I start my lifeguarding job on Friday and an outdoor pool and snow don't mix well. I'm really looking forward to this. I told my mom and she was shocked that I'd gotten over my fear of water. Of course, I didn't tell her that it's because I dream my father is Poseidon and that I can breath underwater now. I simply told her that four years was long enough to let fear run my life.

So, there's some other things I wanted to post about like Annabeth and I were talking about having some kind if party sometime soon, but don't know where to have it. And, I've noticed that there are a lot of people on this board who do some type of fighting in their dreams, either hand to hand or with weapons and I was thinking maybe anyone who wanted to, we could form some kind if training group. I might have mentioned this before or meant to and never did, but anyone interested?

Wow. So much is happening right now, here and in the dreams. The good news is I think I have a chance of surviving these Hunger Games, in the dreams, which is a lot more than I could have said a while ago. Katniss Everdeen is pretty much the most stubborn person in the world, in case none of you were aware of that, but dream-me owes my life pretty much to dream-her.

The fever's gone. I think it was dream related. My leg got sliced open and it was super infected, and I think being sick and pretty much dying there translated to here. Except now my leg is - Well. It's not bad like it was there. It's sort of red where the wound was in the dreams, and it hurts. A lot. I'm limping all over the house and had to tell my dad I was a klutz and tripped on the stairs.

Anyone want some jambalaya or gumbo? ah kind of got bored and started cookin' this morning and well, ah've made enough to last me a month for both. Ah guess ah got focused and all this came out.

Kitty? Logan? Remy? Sam? Lara? Lina? Ah've got enough for all ya'll!

Now Joanna wants to join the damn skiing team. How does a school in Irvine have a damn skiing team??

Next time Orange County is covered in ice and snow, can someone please shoot me a text message? Thanks. It'll save me wandering out of my lab for fresh air and freezing my ass off.

In other news, breakthroughs make me happy.

I return from visiting my uncle in Europe and a few days later, the OC turns into a frozen 'wonderland.' It's nice to see that things have continued to stay interesting here but despite all that, I do have to admit that I missed everything and am very glad to be back in my true home.

Did I miss anything else of interest during the past month of my absence?

Hypothetical question:

If some asshole tries to mug me and I end up mugging them instead, it's not illegal, right? Just self-defense?
