OMG Godzilla. That was amazing. I saw it in IMAX 3D, and I loved it. The special effects were cool! I should probably watch more of the Godzilla movies now. I haven't seen any of the others. Really cool stuff, though. Who else saw it? What did you think?

So it's been brought to my attention that Penny Dreadful is a touch on the scary side for some so we thought watching as a group might be less scary and more fun.

I'm gonna offer up my place to hold these parties, bring snacks and drinks if you like.

If you wanna catch up on the episodes so far I'm thinking of watching the two that have aired so far before the new one this Sunday so just let me know if you wanna come over early.

Monday is my birthday. I will be eighteen, though now physically, I do not know what I am. I dream I am eight hundred. My body looks to be twenty-something. Mentally, I am probably somewhere between all three of those numbers.

What havoc these dreams have brought.

Ugh, I am so over school. I really don't want to go back, but I'll be damned if I know what I could do for work besides bartending. Which would be hard for me to do again.

Anybody got any ideas? I'm good at being a smartass, getting into trouble, and saving people. Oh, and magic.

Woah, the Bachelorette is starting on Monday? It feels like I just started wanting to punch Juan Pablo in his smug little nose.

(Yes, I know they're not romantic at all and totally forced. THAT'S WHAT MAKES THEM AMAZING. It's like watching Darwinism at work.)

Hopefully this season won't have as many people randomly leaving. Hello, you signed up to be on the Bachelor/ette - you should've known the next eleven weeks would be spent with jerks.

Who would have thought I was a dog person. Well I suppose a pet person, as I adopted both a cat and a dog today.

So next Friday is my fight. It'll be televised if anyone wants to check it out. I am not nearly as nervous as I was for the first one. I'll be glad for the downtime, I trained pretty hard this time around and am really looking forward to sitting back and working out for fun.

We get a few months between fights, so I'll take time to enjoy things. Possibly even talk my dearest into some sort of mini-vacation. I've been so focused on training I must have neglected him, should fix that, I think.

Lesson for this week, brought to you by me, for free: Getting fingers stuck in engine blocks tears skin off knuckles. That's common sense, right? But here's the real lesson, no matter how tired you are don't scrub your hands later on in the day with the hard bristled brush.

I may have been so tired when I got out of work yesterday I went through my normal closing routine, which includes scrubbing grease out of my hands, and I wasn't paying attention and wire-bristle brushed my knuckles.

New power words for the shop were discovered. Ye-ouch.

Has anyone seen Laura Kinney? I'm her roommate and she went out earlier and was supposed to be back by now to do more packing, but I haven't heard from her and she hasn't answered any of my texts and her phone is going to voice mail. I'm worried and it's making me antsy and when I get antsy, I want to go punch someone.
