I had a strange dream that I was packing my suit case to go somewhere, but i kept putting baby ducklings in it instead? Over and over with these baby ducks. I don't..maybe I've eaten too many peeps and now dream ducks want revenge?

Hello! I'm Lothiriel and new to the area. I just sailed from New York, and I'm excited to be here for a while. I was super excited to drop off gifts for my cousins, Boromir and Faramir. Speaking of? Hi, you guys!

So what does everyone do around here, for fun? I always end up asking when I come into port for a while, since asking the locals is the way to find out where all the best places to eat or drink are, and where to go shopping. If I buy too much, I might sink my little boat! I better be careful that I don't go overboard. :)

Sometimes it's exhausting being the oldest cousin, but sometimes it's a ton of fun

Predictably, Easter was chaotic. There was an Easter Egg Hunt at Uncle Peter's house, since he's got the biggest back yard. Most of the kids decided I was too old to play, which is fine, but one of the really little ones (he's four this year) asked for my help. He gave me one of his Cadbury creme eggs to say thank you.

Of course, all the adults overbought on candy. So once they did a final sweep of the back yard to get all the unfound eggs, they dumped all the left over candy in a huge bag and handed it over to me so the kids don't find it and go nuts.

I might put some of it in a bowl on the counter at work, for customers with kids. But I might keep most of it to myself.

Thor got a stuffed bunny for Easter. I was a little worried he'd tear it apart within ten minutes, but he carries that thing around by the back of its neck like it's his baby. He's very, very gentle with it and looks worried whenever I pick it up to put it in his toy box. I guess this one is sticking around.

I'm having a party on Saturday, for my birthday. Everyone is invited, though I'd appreciate a rsvp if you're coming.

It should be fun, I hope.

I am completely surrounded by pink streamers, balloons in many colors, and tiny bags of confetti. I refuse to open up the confetti and get it all over myself until tomorrow. I've also need to make sure that it's on high tables and not the kid tables because I don't want any little ones eating it. I just made a bunch of cupcakes, which are currently cooling, and I still need to frost them.

Kid birthdays are crazy. I think I may hire a party planner next year so I don't have to do this myself. But at least Natalia thinks the balloons are absolutely fantastic and that's distracting her for now.

TOMORROW. TOMORROW. THIS WILL BE OVER TOMORROW. IT'S ONLY A DAY AWAY.

I may be going slightly crazy.
