I had a good birthday on Friday, all things considered. Missing a little something, naturally, but I think the kids at the ranch needed something positive more than I did.

I do not recommend a two story fall.

I do not know if I can forgive Erik in my dreams. But I will kills that bitch. It's the only way to be free.

Got my first check. Putain, that is a lotta zeroes on one check.

These past few weeks have been an adventure, not necessarily in a good way at all. My usual routine for weathering these sorts of things involves long hours at work, though I took the time to donate blood and help out where I could, of course.

My newest gallery show, 'Diamonds on Black Velvet' is nearly set to open. I have only a few pieces left to finish, but I'm waiting on a new shipment of diamonds before I can continue. I only use the small, industrial type that my company wouldn't be able to use in its jewelry pieces, of course. They aren't valued very highly, but they do still sparkle enough for my purposes.

I think after all this work I'm due for a break. Perhaps that local Senator can finally make good on his offer to take me out for the evening. Seeing as it's likely he's back to his old self.

So excited for my wedding day, and all the people who are helping us out as favors. YOU'RE ALL THE BEST. Things are going together a lot more smoothly than I thought they would.

I just realized now I've been here just around two months. It seems much shorter than that. Now that everyone at the shop's settled in, I think it's time to have a somewhat belated opening party. Tentatively, I'm setting it for the first weekend in May. If anyone out there has a venue they'd like to offer up, or if someone would like to cater or provide music, it would be most appreciated. Beyond that, everyone is invited (details will be updated on the shop's website) with a donation.

On that same note, to thank Orange County for all the business we've gotten already in the last eight weeks, on April 27, we'll be doing tattoos by donation. We'll have a set sheet of flash, and you can get any one of them in any size and color, anywhere, and pay whatever you'd like. We haven't decided yet on what charities to put the money to, preferably something local, so if anyone has recommendations please let me know.

It is always bittersweet saying goodbye to a show at the end of its run. But what a run, and it ended just in time to start preparations and rehearsals for Romeo and Juliet. High ho, the glamourous life indeed!

It was suggested I could meet people on this network though, so hello. My name is Marguerite St. Just and it seems I will be remaining in Orange County for an unexpected duration, though there do seem to be plenty of opportunities here that I am looking forward to.

I'm so happy spring seems to be here and sticking around! I know we have very mild winters, but now everything is in bloom and it's lovely.

My little backyard garden is coming along quite well, I'm very pleased. Perhaps I'll get some fake flowers from the craft shop and make myself a spring time crown!

Going to the symphony by yourself: awesome or sad? I have tickets and I really want to go - it's a big performance of Schubert and he's my favorite. But a couple of the vet techs at work said I need a date to go to the symphony.

I don't get it.

A date to go to like, a couple's retreat - that I'd get. But since when did music require a date?

Apparently, in my dreams, when I get a lot of energy it turns my hair yellow and I'm something called a Super Saiyan! And I can kick some serious butt.

I've GOT to learn how to do that. Maybe I should master flying, first. Seems a bit contradictory to be able to do something that powerful and not know something like flying.

Anyway, those are my most recent dreams. Anyone a scientist here? Seems like I did a lot of my training in high gravity or something. Seemed to work pretty well, too.
