Thanksgiving and post thanksgiving were both awesome, but now ah think ah'll be a hermit.

Out of all the Greek gods my father just has to be the sea god. So, yeah, apparently Poseidon is my godly parent in the dreams. We were playing a game of capture the flag in the woods, Clarisse and her buddies attacked me, but I defeated them after I touched the creek and my wounds healed. Then I got attacked by a Hellhound and defeated it by touching the creek then after all that a glowing trident appeared over my head, which meant that my father had claimed me.

Yeah, so wanna know the irony of this whole thing? Poseidon is my father and I have a freakin' fear of water! I should have known it'd be something like this.

This was one hundred percent true.

I'm so excited! My parents, sister and brother are coming out here for Christmas! They're flying in the weekend before and staying at a nearby hotel. And I'll even get to spend time with them, because we just had two doctors transfer in from Chicago and Boston. More doctors means Martha doesn't have to work a hundred hours a week. I'll finally get to catch up on my sleep and spend more time with my boyfriend and my friends. I almost forgot what having a social life was like.

Starting a new job is weird, but good. Science teacher sounds weird, and yet, I like the idea. Science teacher at a University, teaching both normal and awesome classes? That sounds even better. Got to meet staff soon, and start settling in for the January semester when I start teaching.

Somehow, despite everything that has happened, I feel like things are better now than they have ever been.

This is utterly astonishing!. She must have been very striking in life. I'd love to dig around in that city...
