How is it being back in your own body?

Oh gosh, there's so much to do. Classes start in a few weeks... but before I can even focus on all of that and how super scary it'll be, I need to settle back in.

The person who rented my house out while I was gone painted the outside this... grey color. I'm sure they thought it was very pretty, but I want something more cheerful. And all of the animals have to get settled in, too... Some of the cats are still complaining, you know how cats are.

I don't even know if anyone I knew is on here anymore, but hello, uhm... I'm Minerva. Or Fluttershy. Whatever's best for you, I won't complain.

I'm sorry, these things are not normal for me. I've never joined a network, so I'm not sure what I am supposed to say. I keep thinking that no one will respond. I barely keep up with my Facebook page.

So, I think I finally had one of those dreams everyone is talking about. Well, more than one. Like in real life, my mother died when I was a teenager and it was just me and my sister, but then, instead of going to culinary school, I got a job with the CIA. Yes, The Central Intelligence Agency. I was an analyst, which seemed pretty easy. I pretty much read blogs for a living. Then I met another agent there named Rex Matheson. He was pretty cool. Then I woke up. I'm really not surprised that dream!me would have a better life than real me.

My mom says I need to make more friends so --
That's lame, don't start like that.

Is anyone else looking forward to school starting this year?

I am terrible with these matters, but I am told it is the proper fashion for one to introduce herself to the neighborhood before the new neighbors come knocking. My name is Dr. Halja Död, but I please feel free to call me Helena. I have recently returned to the United States from abroad and have begun to move into the large Gothic Queen Anne in Lake Forest. I do apologize for any noise this process or my dog may cause you. The movers are late in arriving. I do expect this pandemonium to end within a day or two and to have settled in by that time.

As I am new to the neighborhood and the pantry is bare, could anyone recommend a few good restaurants? Additionally, I am also looking for a trustworthy housemate (this house is far too large for me), a good gym and sports clubs, dog parks, and few charities in need to volunteer my medical services in the area. I appreciate your patience and hospitality.
