Anyone ever have this feeling as though they're just waiting for another shoe to drop? I don't even like shoes. My fandom is cricket. And robots. I do so love robots. And superheros.

Has anyone seen my talking fish? I seem to have misplaced it.

Okay so I just got finished watching 'Fever Pitch'. Has anyone seen this film? It's a rom-com, and yes I watched it alone--so hush--and I'm not nearly as into sports as that guy, so I couldn't quite get into it but the premise was fun and inventive. Really it was a bit refreshing, and Drew Barrymore was fantastic. So that had that going for it.

I lost my first case today. Not my first loss ever, but my first loss since coming to America. Now, due to my failure, a boy is going to prison. 18 years, up for parole in 10. And a permanent black mark on my own, personal record. I dislike losing. I dislike it greatly.

Not as much as that boy will dislike prison life, but then he ought to have listened to my counsel more closely, especially when it comes to the stand. People rarely listen as well as they should. People are arrogant.

I've had horrible dreams recently. Dreams of myself as a boy, but in a setting that summoned both strangeness and nostalgia. Odd indeed. I was a child, and then a young man in charge of a place called the Dreadfort.

The Dreadfort....that's somewhat ominous, isn't it?

So, if anybody has a metal detector, or metal detecting skills, you should help me clean up after the firefighters' picnic "penny pickup." Because there's bound to be some coinage that the kids left in the grass.

I'm so excited! Huck and I are going on a cruise to New Orleans for our anniversary next month. Well, like next week to be more accurate, but it's still August. It has been almost three years since we started dating. I can't even believe it some days, but everyday I'm grateful that I met him and that Stefan bailed on me for the book signing.

My birthday is also next month. So many fun things next month!

I wish I could communicate with Dream!Me. She's clearly being set up by a serial killer while being emotionally manipulated by a demon. She really should just go to the Bahamas and put her feet up or something, but I'm pretty sure she's going to go ahead and be valiant. I wish I could stop her somehow. Being valiant never led to happiness, at least not where Hell is concerned.

I became Headmaster of Hogwarts after Dumbledore. How? I suppose someone had to protect the children from what was to come.

I found this hat in my closet. It's... it fits perfectly. But I have no idea how it got here. I don't remember buying it. It's... exactly like the one from my dreams.

I have come across two people thus far posting about these dreams that they have had about themselves, or...their alter-ego, more or less, from what it's been sounding like thus far. So I pose a question for all of you here: what sorts of dreams do you have, if you do? Does this dreaming business affect everyone with access to this?

Nat is sick and I just get into that protective daddy mode. I wonder if I'll still be like this when she's a teenager...
