Four shots of espresso and a Red Bull later, and I'm pretty sure I can get this project done by the end of the night. If not? There's always all day tomorrow and tomorrow night as well. Still, 48 hours and counting. Woo!

I'm thinking about going to San Francisco for Pride at the end of June. It's about a six hour drive, which could be a fun road trip if anyone else wanted to come with me. So, this is the part where I ask if anyone would want to join me.

Finally went surfing for the first time in weeks, yesterday. I was pretty bad. I think I'm gonna go again this weekend. I don't want to get too rusty.

Is it just me or is relearning to do something almost harder than learning to do it in the first place? Since I got the okay to stop wearing the sling, I've been at the gym three times a week working on my upper body strength and it feels like my arm is useless, but I know I've just got to keep working on it. I mean, I haven't been able to do anything with my right arm for almost three months. I'm not expecting to be able to do handstands and flips and things right off the bat. It's only been two weeks that I've had use of my arm, so I know it'll take some time.

Question though, has anyone else just known how to fight because of their dreams? I was with Barbara the other day and someone tried stealing my bag and I pretty much took him down without even thinking about it. I've never hit anyone in my entire life and I wound up incapacitating this guy. Am I the only one or has this happened to anyone else?

How unethical would it be to go to a college and absorb all the things the professors there know about psychology? I'd state my motivation, but it doesn't terribly matter, I think. Not when the question is about what is right, and not what is necessary.

Mattresses are useful for barricades, apparently. In my dream, one help preserve our barricade a little longer by catching grapeshot.

Also Cosette's dad was at the barricade in my dream, only dream me didn't know who he was.

I missed the enrollment period for university. How could I be so stupid?

Maybe I'll end up having to go back to England after all.

As much as I detest the lawyer-as-vulture stereotype, certain colleagues make it hard to dispel. Still, I consider myself a facilitator of the law rather than a salesman. Who doesn't like Atticus Finch?

Do any among you hold a negative view toward my ilk? Or is there an occupation you find yourself predisposed to mistrusting?
