It is truly a good day when you find that work is a place you love to be. Acting has always been my passion. My fortune of late has been to share that with others and gain some small element of fame, and I feel incredibly grateful to those who make this life better than it was.

ooc: Katniss will be collapsing on Peeta in their thread dated for the end of April. If your character is friends/otherwise close to Katniss and Peeta, I think it's fair to assume the news got out - I'm even fine with saying some reporter was lurking and caught it on camera and started some outlandish story about her being terminally ill/pregnant/whatever.

Rain, rain go away. I'm really not fond of this weather. It's not that cold, I guess, but I could do with some sunshine.

My dreams are playing out like some sort of soap opera or period drama. Too bad I can only see what's going on from my end.

Yorkshire in the early twentieth century was no place for an Irish activity, I'll tell you that. But I still think I've got it plenty easier than the other people I see there.

Who wants to bet when the PSWhateverTheNextOneIsCalled comes out that the games are like, seventy dollars and no titles anyone wants to play, amirite?

Then who wants to bet the Microsoft one is even worse?!

Now I'm sad.

And what ridiculous thing is this? The new Facebook? Linkedin?

If it's Twitter, I'm deleting this thing right away. Attention spans are short enough as it is, we don't need to encourage it. Half of my students are incapable of sitting through a lecture as it stands.

Am I the only one who's already sick of all the prom stuff?

Oh, Mother's Day! Whoever thought up that holiday should be kissed. Preferably by an attractive member of the opposite sex. Or, you know, of the same sex if they swing that way. No judgement here.

I'll just leave my list of demands here where Harry and James can read. If anyone else wants to send me random letters of love or presents to show they care I wouldn't be opposed.

THINGS MAMA LILY WANTS FOR MOTHER'S DAY

01. Breakfast in bed (duh. And a real breakfast, not just cereal and milk you wankers)
02. A bouquet of flowers to show you care
03. A Kindle Fire and a amazon.com gift certificate so I can buy books (it's not much of a present without that last part amirite?)
04. Expensive jewelry, but nothing that says "Mom" or "Mother" on it. I don't want people knowing how hard I had to work for this body.
05. An expensive candle that smells like French Oak so I can take a really nice bath.
06. Throw some nice bubble bath in here too.
07. Fine, James. You can get in the bathtub too.
08. But only after you buy me dinner.

Does using a bunny harness for my rabbit make me weird? Other people get to walk their pets and she needs her exercise as much as anyone else. I get the strangest looks when I take her to the park, but I think she likes it. It's hard to tell.

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone! It's too bad the weather is so horrible today. Phil and I were thinking about doing a cook-out, but it's already been raining here a little. I guess it's ordering in again tonight.

That was a really weird and terrifying dream. My brothers and sisters and I had wings. Like giant bird wings. In fact, we were part bird, I think. Like we had bird DNA. At least that's what I gathered. I don't really remember everything that happened with those scientists. Then we were living in a cabin with our dad, but he wasn't our father. It was weird. Then he left and we were on our own. Then Angel was taken.

I've started running again. I haven't really done it in a while, because I keep telling myself I'm too busy.

I think maybe I was just too lazy.

In any case the moment I started running again, I got this overwhelming sensation that I'd been missing this. Running. I run an awful lot in my dreams, I assume that it's influencing my every day.

Sometimes I realize I know things that I shouldn't know. It's kind of scary.

In any case, if anyone wants to go running with me, let me know.
