I have been asked for my opinion regarding the strange sightings around Orange County.

Just found out I'm the new bouncer and part-time bartender at JoeyRays. If you don't know it, it's a cool place run by a cool lady called Kasumi. You should definately drink there.

So. Has the OC always been this weird? I don't think I remember it being weird when I was younger. Is this a recent development?

Also, this whole maybe ghosts thing is really creeping me the hell out.

I've decided that I'm going to be converting half of my basement into a game room and half into a recording studio. Can anyone recommend a good contractor? I want to start this as soon as possible.

I was also wondering if anyone knows a place where you can get pinball machines.

I'm starting to scare myself now.

Turns out you need more than a lab coat to fake out security at a hospital. Who knew? Apparently my hair color gave me away. Jerks.

Apparently pawning your shit is still a valid way to raise rent money in the Century 19. How I wish that was still true today. And that I had half the wardrobe I've been having in these dreams. At least the sword-cane even. That thing is amazing and I've only really seen it sitting in the corner of my apartment. Also, Marius, you can totally borrow money from me so that you don't have to pawn your coat, man. Seriously. Not that any of our clothing is actually worth what those things had to be new.

...Actually, that's worth investigating. Anyone have sources on 19th Century men's fashion? I would really, really like to know exactly what the things that I'm wearing are called. I know that they're very important, and I'd hate to get things wrong.


...Yes this is what I do to put off literary theory I don't want to touch right now. My minor is killing me, and it's doing it very, very slowly.

I really wish my dreams would let up for a bit. As if I don't have enough going on in my life, now I'm dreaming about being at Hogwarts, with Snape as headmaster. And The Carrows running around teaching, no training us to use unforgivable curses on other students.

It's just a mess. I woke up this morning in a cold sweat. Way too early, too. I'm supposed to get to sleep in on Saturdays.

I think I make a pretty amazing pirate.

I wish the dream!me was a little less uptight. Maybe because I spent my formative years here in California at a public school, I'm just not as clenched up in my waking life as I am in those dreams.

The Quidditch World Cup was pretty amazing. I have to admit. Last night I went with Ron and Harry, and we had a really wonderful time. Until it ended... badly.

Is it at all possible to get a real cup of tea anywhere? I swear, I've been here two years and I've yet to find a place in all of California that can do a decent cup of real, English tea. All of them steep it too long, or not long enough, and it never tastes the same as the stuff we get across the pond.

I may start having it imported, at this rate.

I have a friend and she is amazing. She's smart. Smarter than a lot of you guys put together, but don't let that put you off. She's brilliant and beautiful and funny. Jane is a really great girl who is sweet and amazing. She definitely needs a date for Valentine's Day. Or any day at all possibly. I'm looking for a guy who can not feel intimidated by how smart she is, and someone who is charming and wants to have a good time.
