So Congress shuts down America but keeps their own paychecks?

They are...fucking cunts. Bastards. They don't know what it's like, those blue-blooded shitheads shaking hands and making deals to fatten their fucking wallet. They've never had to eat shit or taste dirt. It's a big, fuck-ugly world out there full of psychopaths, crazies, perverts, predators, lawyers, serial killers and gun nuts. But they don't care. They have so much power and all they care about is getting a little more. They don't even think about the people who suffer. We're ants to them. Nothing but ants.

Maybe I ought to swing up to Washington. Teach a nice lesson.

Ugh.

But you're probably right. They've already got pundits arguing for the shutdown, like it's awesome that people are out of work and things that people rely on will be taken away. You know, like the active military on duty who might not get any paychecks after this next one. I mean, I'm not for any of our overseas dickwaving contests, but those people deserve to be paid for putting their ass on the line so little nerds like me can study plants for a living.

I'm getting a damn drink. Nah, that'll just make me go to congress and get bloody. I'll have a smoke, try to calm down. But this? This is bullshit. I know people tell me not to blame one side and all the rest, and I ain't a huge Obama fan, but I can see past those paid-off scumbags and see the Republicans trying to benefit themselves.

I might be dumb, but I ain't blind.
