[Locked to Valarnet]
The decision that I discussed needing to make the other day has been madeand I will be claiming all of my writings to venture forth into the world. In the last time I was alive, I could not publish anything under my name and I had been using the internet for the same anonymity, when the consequences to me are not AS great as they would have been there. There may be some career ones, perhaps academic, but this is the sort of risk that is giving me a rapid potential for gain instead. It will make my name known to many, help people who have reprinted me to take more notice, and, perhaps, lead me to finding meaningful work where I might better assist the world as I leave the current paper for the bigger world out there and what I hope to do in it.
With all of that said, and before tomorrow morning when the news is posted there, I would like to tell you Valarnet, that I, Apollon Enjolras, am the much debated (in the online journalism world at least) Demosthenes blogger who wrongly spoke against FEMA and apologized, who steals fur resources from the farms that should not have them in the first place, who stages demonstrations, has been jailed, and will continue to speak against injustice as it comes my way.
I once spoke of a dawn of truth corresponding to the light of day. I think that we can only make that day advance if we embrace that dawn of truth so here I am, speaking the truth for all to see it now. I was Demosthenes, and whatever my name, I will continue writing on and fighting in the way that I know best. Tomorrow my name will appear on everything and then we shall see, I suppose.
