What the bloody hell is wrong with this place!?

ETA: I've calmed down some. Arthur says I ought to explain myself when I use profanities.

I left for work this morning, got into the car, and noticed my trousers were missing. How embarrassing. Went inside, put them on, process repeated. By about the forth time I was somehow only in my shirt and shorts. I've taken a sick day and am working from home this week. It's better for my blood pressure this way.

Clothing malfunction, or something else?

"Malfunction" seems a rather light way of putting it, doesn't it?

It's a urban colloquial term. But yes. Lots of people seem to be losing clothing, trading clothing, or gaining outfits utterly unlike anything they ever had before. What's your flavor of ridiculous?

You can read it in my ETA. Needless to say, I'm less than humoured.

I can imagine so. I keep ending up in one ridiculous costume after another. And naked once, at work. I have put a sign up warning of the ridiculous and offering a ten percent discount to the person who comes in with the silliest clothing alteration.

Then you're handling it much better than I am. Does this sort of thing happen often?

My life has been a symphony of weird, most of it worse than this. Here, weird things seem to happen monthly or so. But not all the time. And it is usually something different every time.

Oh, goody. I'm really looking forward to that.

The one good thing about it is that you sort of get used to it?

Well. I suppose that's true enough.

And, I think it is somehow funny. We endure this stuff, but it is not... most of the time, it is not traumatic. Just... silly, stupid. Annoying, yes, and even impeding work, but not traumatic.
