Who: Anakin and Lily What: Eating pizza and playing with big foam fingers When: Tonight Where: Anakin's shithole apartment Rating/Warnings: Most likely low
As Anakin had said he would do, when Lily made it to the entrance of his apartment building, he buzzed her in. He knew he lived in what others might describe as a “shithole,” and the rickety elevator that was really just a big wood and wire warehouse lift was an argument in favor of that interpretation; he still very much liked his studio apartment. It was just a big space in which he could do whatever he wanted. And all the projects he thought up needed space.
Though, right at this moment, he was still in the process of going through the pile of things he had shoved around the other night, separating the broken parts from the stuff that still worked or was still intact.
As for the glass, he’d replaced his lightbulbs in his lights and lamps; that was the easiest fix. But his windows were another story. He would have to figure out how to get new windows. And while Ahsoka had cleaned up most of the broken glass the other night, as he shifted through the rubble, he was discovering the shards and pieces she missed.
So this is why he answered the door with a broom in his hand, along with a grin for that cardboard box of pizza deliciousness.
“Come in,” he said. “Don’t take your shoes off.” He shook his head and quelled his smile for the right amount of seriousness. "It’s for your safety."
