Now that Caroline was feeling 100% better she wanted to thank Tyler for everything he had done for her. Not only that but she also wanted to help him get his mind off Blossom. A strip club seemed like the perfect place to do both things. Tyler may be new and improved from high school or whatever, but she was pretty sure he would still enjoy some strippers.
Of course Caroline dressed for the occasion in tight black dress, her hair in it’s usual curls. She hadn’t told Tyler where they were going, wanting to surprise him, so obviously she was doing the driving. “Alright,” Caroline said once they arrived and she parked the car. By now Tyler should have figured out what she had planned. Before getting out of the car she handed him an envelope full of ones. “You are going to have a good time tonight.”
Tyler did still enjoy watching strippers, though after working in a strip club, sorry, burlesque club (which, as far as Tyler could figure, just meant ‘expensive strip club’) for over a year, they had lost some of their magic. But he was still young, and male, and strip clubs would never not be a thing he enjoyed.
When Caroline had come to pick him up, he had wondered exactly where they were going. She looked… well, great, for a lack of a better word, and he was having a little trouble keeping his eyes up and away from Caroline’s breasts. He wondered exactly where they were going, and wondered if he was underdressed in his grey, long sleeved shirt and black slacks.
When she pulled into the parking lot of the strip club, Tyler couldn't help but laugh. “Wow. This is not where I thought we were going.”
“Yeah?” she replied with her brow raised. “Where did you think I was taking you?” Although to be fair, how often did someone’s ex girlfriend take them to a strip club? Still she was curious to know what Tyler thought.
She climbed out of the car walking into the building with Tyler. “So I’d say drinks are on me but I only just got a job.” Although not paying rent was definitely helpful. “I think I can shell out enough for one lap dance thought.” And the pile of ones she had already given him. Other than that everything was up to him.
“I don’t know. Beer, burgers, pool,” he said. Though, she wasn’t exactly dressed for playing pool. Or for eating burgers, for that matter. “Dancing, maybe.” That seemed a little more likely. Other than Purgatory, though he was usually there for work more than he was for dancing.
“I think I can handle drinks,” Tyler said. His trust fund had come in after he graduated university, and he could compel drinks anyway. Not that Caroline knew that. “I have to admit, Care, I don’t know how I feel about my ex-girlfriend buying me a lapdance.”
“Dancing would be more for me than you,” she pointed out. And tonight was all about him. Beer, burgers and pool though. That made sense. Maybe another time. But for tonight? Strippers.
“Well,” Caroline said as they made their way to a table near the stage. “You’re not going to get one from your ex-girlfriend.” At least not this ex-girlfriend. But she left that unsaid. Caroline was pretty sure his only other ex was Blossom and tonight she was supposed to keep him from thinking about her. She was pretty sure bringing her up, even indirectly, was not the way to go. “So you might as well let me pay for one.”
“Hey, I don’t mind dancing,” he said. He had done it quite a lot between his break up with Caroline and when he and Blossom had become serious. Grinding with a good looking girl was one of the few good things about being single.
He smiled a little weakly at Care’s ex-girlfriend comment. He knew that she hadn’t been talking about Blossom, but it was hard to get the redhead out of his thoughts. “If you insist,” he said. “You really don’t have to though. I’d be happy just sticking ones in some thongs.” Not that he’d say no if she did get him a lapdance.
“What? But I practically had to drag you to homecoming!” Caroline protested. Good thing she had though since they won king and queen, two years in a row thank you very much. “You know we are going to have to go dancing now, right?” Not tonight, obviously. But another time.
“It’s no problem,” Caroline assured him. Hopefully it would help get his mind off everything. “Just let me know which girl you want and it’s on me!”
“There wasn’t any alcohol at homecoming,” Tyler pointed out. Which wasn’t necessarily true. He and a few of the guys from the football team had smuggled it in. But it wasn’t quite the same thing, especially since he knew his dad would have kicked his ass if he had caught him. “But yeah, sure.”
He took a seat at a table near the stage and frowned as he looked around. This was weird. Not just Caroline buying him a lapdance, but also the fact that he had to pick out a girl. He did a brief glance around, and then shook his head. “They all looked fine,” Tyler said, in that none of them really felt right. “Why don’t you surprise me?”
Was that weirder? It might have been weirder.
Caroline wasn’t really finding this that weird at all. It wasn’t like this was her first time at a strip club. She knew it was a thing guys enjoyed. Hell it was even fun for her. At least the drinking part was. She had suggested Tyler pick out the girl because she wanted to make sure he enjoyed the lapdance. But if he insisted.
Caroline waved over a blonde. She had no idea what Blossom looked like (hopefully she wasn’t blonde) but she at least knew Tyler did like blondes. At least she had in high school. “My friend here,” she nodded at Tyler. “Would like a lapdance.”
“Sure thing, hun,” the woman replied giving Caroline the price. Then her attention was on Tyler. She started off dancing in front of the man. Slowly lifting off her top. She wrapped the top around Tyler’s neck holding onto the ends. She jumped onto his lap hips grinding over him breasts in his face. After a few moments of that she turned around and began to twerk, giving Tyler full view of that ass.
Tyler locked his fingers behind his head so that he wouldn’t be tempted to touch the dancer, which would get them in trouble pretty quick. This wasn’t nearly as weird as he had been expecting it to be. When she turned to twirk at him, he grabbed a couple of one’s and tucked them into her thong.
“Well, Caroline,” he said after the dance was over. “You were right. This is kind of fun.”
The stripped made her way back to the pole and Caroline raised a brow at Tyler. “Kind of fun?” she questioned motioning a half dressed waitress over for some drinks. “Geeze, Tyler. What does a girl gotta do around here to get you to have a good time?” she teased before ordering herself a vodka soda.
“Alright, alright,” Tyler relented. “It’s fun. This was a good idea, Care,” he said. He ordered himself a drink, straight whiskey, and turned his attention back to Caroline. “You’re a good friend, Caroline. Thanks.”
