It felt like she'd picked up the phone and put it down again at least a dozen times. It was the middle of the night, and logically, she knew Xena was fine. Even in the dream, everything had turned out in the end.

But Xena had said she could call anytime. She just needed to know she was okay.

>> I had one of those dreams again.
>> About Morpheus.
>> A dream about a dream God.
>> It wasn't a very nice one.
>> You cut it a little close on the rescue, didn't you?

>> Are you awake?

It was late, she couldn't have been asleep long. But apparently it had been long enough. Suddenly some of the things Xena had said made a lot more sense, and she wondered how she hadn't seen it earlier. How had she been so blind?

She didn't think to actually check the time before dialing Xena's number. She understood now. Maybe. She needed to talk to her.

>> I ran into Gabrielle.
>> Rather, she fell onto me.

>> Got a second?

Help. I need to set up a modeling shoot for my internship for our new designs, but people keep dropping. Please please please say you can help me out and fill in. I swear it won't go Rosewood on us

So, hell hounds are a thing apparently.

And so are demi-god quests. I'm apparently very eager to get myself on this quest. Even if it means going on a quest with the son of Poseidon. Not that I have anything against Poseidon, but dream me likes to call Percy "seaweed brain" because our godly parents don't get along.

I can already tell this quest is not going to be a walk in the park.

I can't wait.
