Vanille's fingers could barely hit the speed dial key for Belle's number. They fumbled at first, hitting the one for Fang. But Fang was right there, the woman's sweaty hand barely clutching on to Vanille's. A second try proved more lucky, and the phonecall went through.

"Ring, Ring."

>> I'm on my way back from the airport.

>> Sorry to bother you, Mr. Summers.

You as slick and charming in real life as the dreams? I want to get out and see the town this weekend, take a break from my routine. I figure you could show me a couple places, and we could awkwardly not talk about the dreams for a bit.

Belle watched the creatures retreat, frowning deeply. She called her employer to get further orders.

A severe Swiss gentleman in tactical gear left a harpoon gun and a thermos of tea in front of Holmes's door, knocked loudly twice, then left. The tea was really strong, and still very hot. The harpoon gun was brand new, and had all necessary accessories.

>> I had the strangest conversation just a minute ago.

Belle huffed as she got back into the van. The man driving the thing took them down the block, out of sight of the Summers's household. She dialed Winston as the men deployed, and she climbed back into the driver's seat.

Belle paced the hall outside Winston's office. He was busy making sure his wife got home safe, and Belle was hoping to get some news about his daughter and grandson. She wondered if Scott would recognize her voice, but she didn't care either way. Right now she was legitimately worried about Nate and Emma.
