(1) You had to google Barry Manilow? And wow... I didn't realize Peter was secretly a 70s housewife lol

(2) I ..really don't know what to tell you, Wanda. I've never had this situation happen, I think I would feel uncomfortable that something would be expected of me. Can you offer to pay for dinner?

(3) Unless you want to pay him back in kisses and/or other activities. I don't know that there are rules. Why don't you ask him? Like flat out say 'what is the purpose behind this trip'
