[05.20.13, 1p] lettajames Hello everyone! Figured I would do this before my day officially starts and I completely forget, which is likely to happen. Vacation.... woooo! Anyway, before I get sidetracked, this lovely lady here is Loretta James, or as most people call her, Letta. She is a 18 jobless transfer from Sugar Hill, Georgia where she had a pretty normal life up until a couple months ago. She lives with her exist boyfriend who she sort of manipulated into coming with her but because he has too much pride in his chioces he hasn't left her completely all alone in a strange city. They live on the south side of Boston in a studio apartment and don't have the best relationship slash arrangement going on since most of the time yelling can be heard coming from their apartment. Letta can come off as a bitch and at first it may seem like she's ignoring you, which let's face it sometimes she does. She doesn't trust many people and even though she isn't on good terms with her ex, he is the only one she trusts right now. She is currently in search of her biological mother, which is her reasoning for being in Boston. But so far she's hit a dead end and has no idea where to look. She knows she's somewhere here... just not sure where. As for lines... anything and everything. She will be looking for a job soon and she tends to stick close to the college campus and around people her own age, she also enjoys finding trouble and I'm sure she's going to enjoy exploring a new strange city. [04.06.13, 12p] marshallthomas Good Saturday to everyone! I'd like to introduce Marshall Thomas, he is a intern at Boston General, and transplant from the great state of Texas! Here are some random things about Marshall that you'll need to know: ~ Born and raised in Texas, use to be a boy scout and for the most part still is, it's just the way he is in life. Respectful, kind, always looking to help someone out. ~ After high school he enlisted in the Army, after his first tour in Iraq he went to school to become a medic at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, he then went back overseas to Afghanistan to continue helping those who were wounded in battle. While he was overseas, he started working towards his degree and when he was discharged from active service, he went to the University of Texas where he finished his degree. ~ He applied to several medical schools but wound up deciding on going to Boston University, he felt like he needed a change and wanted a challenge for himself. ~ He interns at the hospital but still tries to work with the fire department, doing ambulance runs to help out with the low number of experience paramedics. ~ Despite not living in the country anymore, he can still be seen wearing cowboy boots, plaid shirts and jeans. Living in the northeast really hasn't effected him as far as his accent, fashion, or way he lives his life is concerned. ~ Marshall is a huge football fan, he's obsessed with the Houston Texans, he has gotten into a couple of fights in bars over the rivalry between the Patriots and the Texans. He can often be found in a bar somewhere on Sunday's wearing his Brian Cushing jersey and cheering on his home town team. Marshall really has had very little time to socialize, so he may have one or two existing friends if anyone wants to help me up with that but for the most part I'm looking for new experiences for him. She's been in Boston for over a year due to some family problems that led to the suicide of her cousin/best friend. Shortly after, a sex tape was released and her career came to a screeching halt. She is currently working on more music and will be back in the studio soon. She could use friends, even enemies. If anyone wants to bring in a new character, her ex who had been the last known person to have their little tape would be dramatic. Maybe it was stolen, opposed to him releasing it himself? She stayed with her dad for a while but she's moved into her own place in the last few weeks and has a job at Thinking Cup as a server. She's a 28 year old Boston native who has lived here all of her life, minus the four years she attended Nursing school at UNC Chapel Hill. She recently gave birth to a little girl, Ryanne (Rye-ann, not Rye-in). Her daughter's father is a man she works with and had a very brief FWB relationship with. Once she is done with her maternity leave, she is a labor and delivery nurse at Brigham and Women's Hospital. She's someone with a "Mother Hen" personality and is extremely family oriented...and to her family extends beyond just blood. If you're a friend, you're also family. Right now I've really only got the one storyline for her, so I'd love to find some more connections for her! 30 C

[03.27.13, 6p] sashaspencer Hello! Some of you may reconize this sn from a previous community. I finally got my butt in gear to bring Sasha here. I'm also bringing csoltero here but I'll get to him in a second. Firstly, this is Sasha. She's a 32 year old Boston native, though she spent the first two years of her life on Sea Island off the coast of Georgia, but hasn't lived in town for a few years. She's just now moving back so she can be around her darling nieces bexc and kayleer. She's the second oldest girl in a family with five kids and she wouldn't have it any other way. She's got two kids - Robyn, 11 and Cory, 9 - but she's raising them by herself because both fathers have other families to tend to. She left Boston after graduating high school and she moved to New York City to start a modeling career. She came back and visited now and then but mostly stayed in NYC until recently when she decided to put her modeling career on hold so she could focus on her kids more. She's as friendly and cheerful as can be with a motherly arua about her. She's not a very complex woman at all. For the moment, since she's just getting back to town, she doesn't have a job. And then there's Christian. Christian is 27 year old local guy that has always known he was gay but didn't come out of the closet until he much later in life. He tried to be straight as much as he could and deny his sexuality but in doing so, he ended up getting a girl pregnant in highschool. Doing the right thing, he married the girl and they ended up having two kids together. Though he was married, he saw men on the side and finally came out of the closet when his wife got pregnant with their second child. It was kind of a wake up call for him and he started being true to himself. They divorced and now they have joint custody and he's living life freely as a gay man for the first time in his life. He's friendly with a good sense of humor, though he's pretty private about his personal life and keeps most things to himself. His kids are currently 10 and 5 ( note: this may change so his kids aren't close in age to Sasha's ) 9 and 10 months and he always puts them first. So far, he's friends with maerlot and I'm hoping he can work at oanna's gym as fitness/boxing instructor. There you have it! My two for one deal. I love anything for either of them! For the storylines I had for Sasha from the previous games I had her in, I'd like to start fresh with them so kindly forget any history between her and your character. She's brand new. [03.26.13, 9a] oanna Hello, all! I'm bringing in this girl, hopefully, and now that she's all fleshed out and finished, I'd love to get some lines. This is Joanna Merlot, she's married to maerlot, and has two children (Aiden, 8, and Ava, ten months). Originally from Australia, she did the foreign exchange program for her senior year of high school and was placed in the Merlot's house in Seattle, some fourteen years ago, and basically fell in love with Adam right away. jmerlot, Adam's brother, is like another brother to her. She attended the University of Washington, majored in exercise science, and has been working in gyms ever since. She's a physical trainer and a nutritionist that currently owns a gym; Adam and Jo moved to Boston about a year ago, just before Ava was born, and after getting married this past December, Jo bought ownership of a gym and is currently running it. There are a lot of details in between (like how her and Adam were broken up for four years after she had to go back to Australia, and she had a son with another man, but Adam recently adopted him), but those are all in her bio. I'd love to work out lines with people, especially with Joe's wife and anyone else connected! Joanna is very friendly, family oriented, a bit of a mama bear but she's hard working and caring. Good Afternoon Boston, I would like to introduce my latest work to you, Dexter Koller. Originally from Glasgow, he is now a retired boxer living in Boston, former heavy weight champion of the world, and currently the owner of House of the Bruce, a Scotch-Irish pub located in the heart of Boston. Despite the fact that he doesn't fight professionally anymore, Dexter spends a lot of his free time down at some of the local gym and boxing clubs talking with the up and comers, sparring a little bit, and working out, just trying to stay in shape in case he does feel like making some type of a come back. He's a fairly sweet tempered guy, he likes to joke around, he takes care of his employees because he sees them like family, mostly because he really doesn't have much family in Boston to speak of. His parents and his brother still live in Scotland, and his ex-wife and daughter currently live in Cambridge, he gets to see his daughter but not as often as he'd like. I'm looking for anything and everything from people who work at the bar, to friends of all ages, people he spars with, and if anyone feels like playing his ex-wife or his daughter, please feel free to let me know! 4 C

[03.23.13, 7a] kyle_mccarthy Update After throwing darts, picking names out of a hat, flipping a quarter a couple of times, and breaking out the ouija board, I decided on Gerard Butler for my new character. 40 year old retired boxer, owns a bar in Boston, originally from Scotland but came to the U.S. once his boxing career took off, has a sixteen year old daughter that lives with his ex wife. That's just some general information about him, if you're interested in any lines to help me round out his personality, I would greatly appreciate it :) So far I'm really enjoying this community, so much so that I'm considering bringing in a second character. aim = beabruinkyle [03.19.13, 9p] kyle_mccarthy Good evening Boston and happy belated St Patricks Day! I'd like to take a moment and introduce Kyle McCarthy, a 33 year old Boston native, a former center for the Boston Bruins and currently a night time radio host on WEEI, ESPN Radio Boston. Kyle was forced into an early retirement after suffering an ACL injury that would never fully heal, it took him the better part of two years to truly recover both physically and mentally, and after a number of guest spots on local radio broadcasts he started to fill in at the desk and eventually became a co-host before getting his own show. He is a fairly chipper guy, though he can be very opinionated but that comes with the territory of being a radio host. Kyle spends a lot of time in the local bars debating sports with other die hards, working on cars, or hanging around his house either playing X-Box or watching TV. Both are extremely close, even after separating they remained tightly knitted together. Jessica functions better when Harley is near by. She is a very interesting individual, she and Harley have a lot of the same personality traits, minus a few things. She's blunt, temperamental, yet she is very respectful, sweet and loving. There is persistence to her, which can either be annoying or enduring. Jessica Riley is a family/friend oriented woman. Hard worker, yet passionate with what she does. She is a professional make-up artist for MAC, is working developing her own line of make-up (every make-up artists dream). She also does painting/drawing/etc on the side as a hobby, nothing professional even though the quality of her painting would be considered professional. Jessica could use all sort of other lines: friends, more bffs, exes, coworkers, family members; little brother or cousins, crushes, love interesst, test subjects for make-up, clients, etc. Whatever you have in mind, Jessica could use them all. 28 C

Good morning! [02.24.13, 11a] hannegan Let's get a head start on the day and get this going. I've been wanting to bring this character here for a while now and I've finally managed to finish him up. This is Jimmy Hannegan and a quick lowdown on him: 33 years old, Boston born and raised, Irish Catholic family, he is second generation Irish american, has a three year old son who is the love of his life. He works and manages Hannegan's Pub, which was established by his grandfather in 1952. Now a days he works hard, mostly keeps is head down and walks a straight line though he has a sorted past with drugs but that's in the past now, his only vice today is drinking. A serial dater (serial monogamist actually) but he can't seem to find "the one" to settle down with. I would love pretty much anything and everything. He needs childhood friends, new friends, old friends, drinking buddies, ex girlfriends and flings he's had in the past, customers that frequent the bar, he could even use people that don't like him or hate him because of his past. He was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. He served time in the New Zealand Royal Navy for a few years. He realized being in the Navy isn't something he wanted to do for the rest of his life. After finish University he took the route of an author, has never regretted his choice. Currently he moved to Boston to be closer to his daughter (whom is NPCd along with the baby's mama). Because he hasn't let the fame get to him, he currently works as a bartender. He's thirty-two, from the Boston area originally and would have been back for about a year now. Courtney (his parents thought they were having a girl and then decided to keep the name) is in the process of figuring out the next stage in his life now that he's left a life on stage behind. Mostly this means he has a lot of time on his hands while he debates about teaching ballet or finding something else that interests him enough to make it into a career. She's a 28 year old single mother of one who hails from the Boston area, and is filling the role of harleyhendrix's babymama! She spent a short time in 2012 in New York, but returned after giving birth to her daughter Emma. Her father is a real estate mogul and her mother a lawyer who settled into the life of a housewife after having children but Alice doesn't really associate with them anymore. Growing up, she ran with the Boston Junior League, was a debutante, and was part of the lie her parents liked to perpetuate as their perfect life. Due to this, she has a severe distrust of men and relationships in general. She was extremely careful with her image, and getting pregnant was what had her move to New York. Alice had intended to hide her pregnancy and give the child up for adoption, but obviously her decision changed. Currently, she's teaching Math at Philips Academy, the same private school she attended growing up and has fallen back into her old social circle (including the Junior League) despite her fears of having a child out of wedlock resulting in being completely shunned. I'd love a few friends for her, or maybe someone for her to go back and forth with on a regular basis. I'd also love a guy who was the kid of a family friend that she was always getting pushed to get together with. She would still attend parties and events with him! Also, if anyone is looking to bring in a new character her older brother would be wonderful! Her name is up for debate (I called her Meredith, but it can be changed) and she's married, so the last name is open as well. She's older than Jory (he's 27) and I always pictured her as an interior designer or something similarly artsy. She and Jory did not get along as kids, but are friendly now. [01.19.13, 3p] plambert good morning! i've been working on this girl for the last couple of days and she's finally all done and applied. with the face of barbara palvin this is peyton lambert, little pain in the ass sister to bentle. she just moved to boston back in august after a series of multiple set backs. growing up she was a wild child (and still kind of is, in a more reserved fashion) who always broke the rules and found herself in trouble on a daily basis. she hung out with the wrong crowd and her parents decided it was in her best interest to send her away to a boarding school to finish her high school education. she did turn herself around for the better while she was away and even went off to college - but the stressors of trying to juggle being a dean's list student and a party hard sorority girl caught up to peyton and she ended up self medicating herself with anxiety medicine and alcohol - yeah not the best combo. anywho, she ended up in the hospital and her parents had finally had enough so they sent her up to live near her brother in hopes that this could finally be the change she needed. peyton really is a good hearted girl she just happened to take a few wrong turns trying to get to where she wants to be - which ultimately is an elementary school teacher. she has calmed down some and is totally focused on making her dreams become a reality. she's living in boston under the agreement with her parents that she either a) goes back to school full time to finish her degree or b) get a full time job. right now she's working on schooling but has contemplated getting a part time job just so she didn't feel like she was completely leaching off of her parents. so that's pretty much peyton in a nutshell and her bio definitely goes into more detail. she's a newbie so she wouldn't really have complex, detailed lines as of yet but i'm always down for brainstorming something amazing! her apartment is definitely big enough for someone to join her as a new roomie if anyone is looking for a home. maybe part time job suggestions so she'll have some coworkers? neighbors who live on or around newbury street? fellow dog lovers who could have met at a dog park? she could use a girlfriend or two and we can figure out how they met exactly. maybe even a guy she has a thing for or someone she went out on a date with once or twice. throw anything at me i'd love to make something happen! 2 C

So, a little about Yael: She's 24 and a professional translator (Hebrew and Arabic) who does private language lessons/tutoring on the side. She moved to Boston from Tel Aviv last summer, so she hasn't been here super long but has been around long enough to know a few people, at least! She can be a bit prickly on the outside but is a pretty squishy warm person on the inside, with a soft spot for pets and other people's kids (Friends who need a baby sitter, take note~ She might act put out, but unless she has a previous appointment she'll agree every time). She is also fiercely protective over the people she cares about. She has a bit of a temper, but it tends to flare up and then die down pretty quickly. She can often jump to conclusions or overreact, but if that happens, she will apologize - It just might take her a while to work up the guts. She has a tendency to hold grudges, but if you slip your way into her heart she'll keep you there forever, which can be both good and bad. I'd love any sort of lines you guys would be willing to throw at me (good AND bad - negative CR is vastly underrated) and would especially adore any connections with other Jewish characters, if there happens to be any. They did try to be a couple, but she was a little too controlling and he was still in love with his at the time ex-girlfriend. They didn't last all that long. They're still fighting over custody, but for the moment, Harley watches Emma on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and has her on the weekends. [01.11.13, 11a] jkry Now that he is accepted into the community I figured I would post one of these. This is Jakob Ryan a 1st Lt. Fighter pilot with the USAF (he went ROTC at Stanford), he has been in the military his whole life his father is a retired General from the USAF he was also a fighter pilot. Jake had a crappy childhood with an alcoholic mother that used to abuse him. He got over his mommy issues when she was murdered this last year in California by her boyfriend. It had been a tough year but also a great year for this guy. He met Lauren at the tail end of 2011 and she stole his heart like a little thief and they got married and had their first child together this last Christmas. He is a guys guy he is super laid back, fixes up cars with Lauren's dad, loves sports, competes with the USAF BJJ/MAA fighting team for kicks and to stay in shape. Lauren doesn't like it so much, too many black eyes and bruises. He loves his son and is protective of his wife and family. They moved back to Boston a couple months ago and moved into a home as well in Waltham near Hanscom. He and Lauren have a rivalry when it comes to football obviously. He could use just about anything as far as lines go. He could use a guy friend definitely someone that he can talk to about dude things, he is a loyal friend and will always pick you up if you call him because you got too drunk at a bar.
