Who: Felixa and Marek What: Poison-Warding When: Thursday morning, January 27th Where: Ollivanders Warnings: Status: Incomplete
Felixa had not made any wands that week, and once the shop was properly protected until Marek Bobbin developed a more suiting poison, she was finally going to start again. The last few days had managed to teach her quite a few spells for tasks she either normally did by hand or normally didn't seek to do. She liked expanding her knowledge and skill base, and learning new spells had been an important way of bonding with her wand. They had been a little more difficult than before, both because she was only bonding with her wand and because it was less flexible than her old one.
Coming in the back door early, Felixa checked on everything, including the wards, before opening up the shop. Mr. Ollivander knew of the changes in protection she was making but hadn't made many comments. Of course, the wizard had thought her additions with wand magic had been a great demonstration of magic but not entirely necessary. And these wards would take it to a whole new level. But she wanted the shop, and Mr. Ollivander, safe. Although her wands were choosing witches and wizards at times, and the quality was excellent, she had a lot more to learn from him and planned on ensuring he stayed alive for it.
Going through a mental inventory of her current woods and cores to work with, Felixa wondered what wand Marek Bobbin had. A wand told a lot about a wizard, but most people considered it an unusual question. Few people ever came into the shop at 7am. Felixa and Mr. Ollivander worked in the back. Charms always told them when someone came in. But Marek had said he would come in early, and there was no point in starting to work on a wand when she knew he would be interrupting so early in the process.
