"And assuming makes an ass out of you and me," he said with a playful look. He took a step forward, kissing his forehead. "You must be wise not to let it happen again," he said with a wink, his tone like it had been back in the old days at Hogwarts.
"Clara nor I clean. We do house charms. We are so incredibly lazy," he explained before catching the frown. He took in a breath. "I've missed you too, Dean...I really have," he said with a sigh, as he glanced down to the floor. His arms crossed and he was about to say something else, when he noticed Dean drop to his knees. Instinctively, his back straightened and he felt a shiver run through him. He couldn't help but blink.
"I don't think you are the one who needs to be asking for forgiveness," he said, trying to maintain a serious expression, but failing miserably.
