Who: TELLA
What: an Animagus chase. And then probably shagging. AND THEN HORCRUXES. Can you hear me cackling yet.
When: Thursday, after this and this. [backdated]
Where: the forest T almost burned down a few months ago. Then, who knows.
Warnings: INSANITY. Also probably shagging and NPC death.
Status: Incomplete.
Terrence's mood, after leaving Katie to her own devices, was indescribable. Mostly, he felt defiant, which was brilliant; it made his certifiable insanity feel justified in the best way. He felt victorious in that he was the master of his own destiny, in the fact that he had wreaked utter (possibly temporary) destruction of the best friendship in his life just to give his friend the ability to control her own life and defend herself. Everything was wrong, everything was in ruins except for Terrence's relationship with Ella, and yet, in his mind he was standing in the midst of everything crumbling down and laughing like a fucking hyena to the stars above.
Not that there were stars, it wasn't nighttime yet. And he was indoors now, having Apparated back to his flat. He made himself a sandwich, savoring it as he flipped through his journal, and wrote to Ella, his laughter (slightly muffled by the food he was eating) occasionally breaking the silence in his flat.
Fucking hell, he hadn't felt this good in a long time. Had he forgotten how much could be solved with destruction, which would give way to rebuilding, stronger than ever before? He couldn't have, and yet, he rather thought that he had. At the very least, he was going to revel in this feeling while he had it, and he was going to pass it on to Ella if he could; she sounded like she needed it just as much as he did.
Now he just had to determine where she would be. The last time he had felt even remotely like this, he had nearly burned down a forest -- if he had chosen the location for the run, that was where he would go. Would Ella have chosen the same? Given what he knew of her current mood, he could easily eliminate any of their full moon hunting grounds; neither of them were particularly content with the Marks on their arms right now, and going to one of those places wouldn't be much of a relief from it. No, he was fairly certain she'd have chosen the first forest, their burnt forest, otherwise she probably would have given him a clue.
Apparating to the spot, he transformed immediately, letting out a fantastic hyena laugh into the still forest, trees still showing signs of the fire that had been here. Then he lowered his nose to the ground, searching for the scent of Ella - a scent he knew better than any other in the world, even in her Animagus form - in frigid ground, or the sight of her pawprints in the snow.
